That’s why the second article of faith is so important. No event from the past or accidentally relationship from our sinful kin or questionable actions from early church members will have any consequence for any of us on judgment day. Don’t worry about the past, work out your own salvation.

So well said. Our hands are full with figuring out so many things today. And trying to put ourselves into 1822 is pretty tough.
