My daughter and I took this trail this morning. We recently moved here from California and were in awe of how beautiful this area is. The people are so friendly which was an added bonus. It’s a foreign experience being able to enjoy something like this with no entry fee and not an hours worth of traffic just to get to it. We love it here in Alabama!
Glad ya'll enjoyed it!! Take a look at the Gator Boardwalk in Spanish Fort. It's not as natural as this trail, but you can see wild gators up close (safely) for free.
I've hiked this trail with my father who had dementia. He loved all the variety of things to look at from the oak tree to the beach. It's a nice easy trail and one I recommend to anyone who is visiting the Mobile, Alabama area. Thanks for sharing your visit and reminding me of a great trip.
You're absolutely correct. There is lots to see and do here. Even wheelchair bound people can go from Bayfront Park to the beach and pier as it's all paved.

Need to get over that way, the list is piling up.
10.30 super picturesque
Very much so
I'm glad you got to see the alligators.
About 10mins north, there is a boardwalk that has a lot more:
