Cecilly Brook Local Nature Reserve Walkabout. Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands. 24th June, 2024.
I chose the hottest day so a far of the year for this brief walkabout with my daughter, grandson, plus Millie the dog at Cecilly Brook Local Nature Reserve, near Cheadle town.
No pool, no Kingfishers, or water voles to be seen on the day, but it didn't spoil our shortish visit on the day. We walked most of the clean and wide pathway through the park divided by a minor road while pushing baby in a pushchair with comparitively ease.
It's a 6.5 out of 10 from me on this one I'm afraid. Too much like a public park. The only bonus really being was I did have my daughter and grandson for company along with Millie for this walk.
