Honestly brother I love the heczquarters but I’m always a strong believer in growing and changing and I feel like a chnage of scenery could be really good for the team and the head office place looks like a really good space to help separate their practice and lounge areas. In my opinion it’s refreshing to see . Plus there’s a lot more opportunity for content there. Always on you tho 💚

I'll be sad when the HECZQUARTERS is gone but that space in downtown Dallas is so high end and professional I think you'd be stupid not to move there, and plus it could do with a touch of HECZ adding to its character. Plus Hastro's office is there and it'll make the organisation as a whole feel more connected I think. Big love from the UK!

The open floor plan is what makes the hecs quarters so great, you get to see your favorite optic members interact and mingle.

I’d say you move everything downtown Hector. Reasoning being having everyone in the business at one place only really has positive effects, all the different areas of Optic being able to interact daily e.g the Fuel team and Cod team. The only reason I see for keeping the old Heczquarters is the nostalgia effect but good things always come to an end eventually and you can make new fresh memories downtown.

HECZQUARTERS just feels real and personal. OpTic not feeling corprate is a small part that makes you feel different and special! BUT WE RIDE OR DIE you got this!
If it's feasible, maybe make the downtown office a place for officials and team practices, and then the heczquarters a place for streaming/content. That way, players can focus in an official office, while still being able to get the family vibe of the heczquarters when they want to stream. Plus, it'll probably open up space to make some more sets in the heczquarters for content.

I think it would be sick moving downtown but I also feel like the layout of the heczquarters is what makes everybody interact and vibe together. If you guys move down and everybody has different offices or are more spread out it would be rough.

in my opinion the heczquarters is like home. the office feels exactly that like than office. I feel like the guys who stream at the HQ would not like the vibe as much in an office environment. Also people like dashy and formal mention how they love the HQ's vibe and how close it is to their apartments. When I see a video in the HQ or someones streaming from it, it just feels homey I cant explain it any other way.
Matt said it best “feels like a living room” and downtown is a literal office building with all the corporate side of optic attached to it.
dashy too comfy at the HQ (he almost got dropped in the off season btw) he constantly has people hovering behind him/walking back and forth or hitch is screaming for his own stream. He needs a change of scenery tbh.
Hard disagree. They need to be in a professional setting. You don’t go into your office at a real professional job to feel like you’re home, that’s what home is for. Boys need to lock it in this season. If we wanna talk stats, Val got 2nd at worlds, halo won worlds, Dallas fuel won worlds and the cod team blew it. All teams except cod practice at the office, need I say more? Wanna be comfy? Stay at home. Wanna win? Go to an environment that locks you in.
@@Joshua-sx2bb the cod team for their practice and matches yes but moving the whole hq to the offices is not the play. It’s a home away from home. & don’t act like the halo team didn’t just win a world championship playing mainly out of the HQ. It’s not about the environment as much as it is about quality practice. I do agree the cod team would benefit from being in the office but the HQ is where all of optic hangout do content vibe and stream. Dashy and formal love it there and the fans love the HQ. The only thing I think should change is the cod team plays from the office.

The HQ is nostalgic because it was a better atmosphere from that office building when you first arrived in Dallas. But downtown tho 👀 I’m in love the layout so far. It’s going to look crazy if it ever gets fully fleshed out as HQ 2.0

The office downtown is for sure nicer and more professional, but it also feels very corporate. The Heczquarters has a very homie feel to it that I love

HQ is vibey as heck and feels like home. I get bad vibes in terms of moving the HQ down to the corporate downtown office, reminds me of the optic/infinite situation and how all the content creators despised the corporate office feel. We been down this road before havent we?
Downtown is sick!! However I do think that theres a special connection in Frisco. It’s more of a family vibe when everyone is hanging out in one huge room. After all, OpTic is one big FAMILY

I love the HQZ and the history that comes with it, so it would be sad to see it completely gone. However, based on the tour you gave in this VLOG, that space looks like it could be turned into a state of the art gaming/content creating office/lounge that few other organizations can compete with. In it's current state it's already pretty damn sweet, but with some work it could be unreal. So much potential and in a excellent location in a booming area.

HQ has a special place much like the other houses did, but as things grow and change so does the team. Would love to see everyone downtown in a professional, organized space as the content would take a whole step forward with that facility. As usual, it’s a team decision, but I think the facility could be a brand new journey for everyone.
the current h3czquarters has a 6050 vibe, its the grassroots, down to earth, personal vibe that we've always loved about OpTic. I am not opposed to seeing growth and moving into a more professional setting, but I think it would take away from those feelings unless recreated there in the office.
There is something about watching formals stream and hearing davis go crazy in the back that reminds me of watching scump nade and bigT in the bigroom of 6050.
I love the growth but man you guys built something with the h3czquarters that is like the upgraded version of the original team house. It's like the only one that works and it's been inspiring all these years to witness it from the outside.
It's like my dream environment to work in so i'd hate to see it go and no longer be an example

I mean, if y'all are planning on staying in the DFW area I feel like it would be better worth the money to build something in an area that would allow you to expand as you please and has access to high gig fiber. Could build a warehouse or something, get discounts from the different building companies by vlogging the building process and calling it an ad for that local building company. Demo ranch has done this a lot. Would love to see an OpTic compound that even had a merch store like the 100 Thieves compound. I mean I got ideas for days on this topic.
I feel like moving to the downtown office is good gives that feeling of a fresh start and to forget last years problems
I think the moving of the HQ to the offices is all about the overall vibes and making it seem homey. The HQ became just that and it's nice to see everyone together all the time. However i think with everyone on the same page and comfortable with the move, those vibes and passion could definitely be replicated, as well as new memories being made in a different place. Kinda like the transition from 6050 to the Scuf house.. was a completely new environment but still made for some extremely good content and new vibes overall.
Heczquarters has been great because it’s been loved by everyone as being a hangout spot where you can still get plenty of content made from. Moving to downtown could make it a little too formal and have less people showing up just to hangout and stream from. However there’s no problem with making changes and moving on, so do what you feel is best man. Sounds like a really tough call though

The Downtown spot is amazing and has that professional vibe. I definitely think that the amount of content that is available to be made in the office and shown off would do really well. And the optic crew definitely know how to make a space feel less like an office and more of a creative space. But it’s what the player’s ultimately want.
The whole thing about the hex quarters is that it’s a museum/working space/content area/streaming room/hangout area. It’s so cozy and gets the big ideas flowing. It’s a gem and should be expanded, but given up on ❤️ but regardless, we’ll be with you through everything big OpTic hecz! All love from the greenwall!

ZLaner joining Optic opened me up to this world and its cool to get a vlog and to hear the passion you have for it all. Always been given to follow the head of culture and mascot of Optic in Hitch for this stuff. They know what works and what didn’t from past experiences. Would love to see a big space like the Heczquarters within the same building as the rest of the org, so you can have the best of both worlds
I say move if there's a dedicated equal or bigger space than the heczquarters. Us as a viewer also like to see general operations of Optic and Envy and Fuel etc because we like that insight

I'd stay at the H3CZQUARTERS cause the suburbs are always so much nicer and so much less traffic. Plus the place is great and you've done so much work to it customizing it and everything. The Envy place is cool, but it's more corporate and divided and I really appreciated the more homily feeling of the H3CZQUARTERS.

love frisco grew up here. but the opportunities downtown offers is endless. would love for y’all to stay in frisco so hopefully i can run into y’all. however downtown dallas is the move
From the videos it seems that optic is outgrown the heczquarter. Maybe upscaling wouldnt be a bad idea
I know it sounds cliché at this point but the HQ really works for content. I'm not sure if there's a place in the office space that delivers the same capabilities for recording from a multipurpose standpoint. With that being said, it would probably be best for the pro players to practice in a more *sophisticated* environment. I know you guys have tried super hard to convert the HQ into that when it needs to be, but the swap to a dedicated practice area separate from where they're lounging/chilling would be great for their mindset (I can only assume, gotta ask the players). Best answer is to continue to rent HQ for content purposes or find another suitable content area (garage mahal could work for some stuff?) alongside the office.
I say move. Everything is always in a state of flux and change. Embrace it and use it as you continue to drive your brand into the future. Thanks for all the great content!

If you move out of the Heczquarters I feel like youd need a big space to keep everyone that was already there very close to each other. The vibes are insane there because its like a home away from home. People are saying the downtown space is so high end and cool and I agree but I feel like that pulls from what makes the heczquarters what it is.

1 roof downtown because you're together and more possibilities, but a room has to be transformed to where "the heczquarters podcast area" could be resembled and upgraded.

the downtown office is classy and official. Everything you need. Frisco Heczquarters will hold a special place in everyone's hearts as the place where OpTic started a new chapter of identity revival. That place would be great still for hosting content, streaming, and scrims like you originally did. Art too!

He downtown building definitely has more room to expand capabilities, production ability, internet looks NICE. Plus having all the teams including the Fuel together really builds family and comradeship together.
Id say stay at hecz quarters and keep that a creative space/entertainment space and potentially make streaming pods for the creators, and the esports/job esc roles of OpTic move to the space youre in. it separates work from fun and separates content from job ish things. either way, big fan and love what yall are doing!

When OpTic was out of your hands it was the Heczquarters that carried content. The Heczquarters was like a temporary replacement while we were waiting for the boss to get OpTic back. Now that OpTic is back, It's time to make up for time lost and the progression missed. Downtown location does that with, more opportunity for content, The space can be set up in a way that enables content to be more convenient(That's just what I see, but what do I know)....This space seems to be exactly what you wanted the Heczquarters to become. Now the cons...Commute roughly 30 min or more, Can you convince players to make that trip every day? It's a work environment in some spaces, can you be yourself in those spaces without interrupting workflow? The space still has NV vibes(Not bad just not optic) What is it going to take to change that? Been a OpTic fan since before 6050, Loved watching the journey and will continue to watch wether you move or not!

The office layout reminds me of Infinite days (scary) but if the content areas are separated enough it would be a place you can grow.
Honestly the question is what’s more efficient, if the relationship between the heczquaters and the other office is pretty straightforward even with the distance then let it be but if moving everything downtown sounds more ideal for what you need in the future well
