@Rajarshi Das how is it convenient. Wireless charging is slow and terrible in efficiency. If you want backup power Normal powerbanks will give better capacity and faster charging.
Same with headphones. Why do I need have a headset with worse audio quality that needs to be charged and is heavier and more expensive just so I that I don't have to use a cable. But I guess everyome has different priorities.

But love the video keep up the hustle!
@@thehippieboy69 so I just rewatched the whole video, to see if I stood corrected. I do not. One thing I like to mention, is that the usb-c port on the anker power bank is bidirectional. That means you can use it to charge other devices with a usb C to C or Usb C to lightning if you don’t have a MagSafe or Qi compatible device.
You haven't taken into account that the battery starts to charge slowly ( demands more power to charge after 80% ) so to compare efficiency you need to replicate the same experience with the same parameters for both batteries .. Great video over all !!

TBF they've stopped getting thinner, even got thicker by a few mm in recent years. replaceable? that honestly goes counter to the capacity, with the current size of mobile phones a replacable pack would eat up like half capacity since removable Li-ion packs need sturdy casing for safty reasons

Hey I just wanted to say, great job on the video, you really added in some special flare by breaking down the real world numbers people should see before making a buying decision and especially when it comes to batteries its hard to tell on face value.
Just to mention too, your Apple MagSafe battery pack can only charge via MagSafe and not via it’s lightning port, which the Anker one can do via it’s USB C port. In my case, I still need to charge my earphones or other peripherals on the go with a wire so this is a must feature.
One thing I would've much preferred to see is the magnet's strength. One of the main reasons why this is really cool on the iPhone 12 line is obviously the fact that it's wireless, though there are several iPhone charging cases that may just as well satisfy your need of some extra battery power. iPhone charging cases are much more 'safe' as the battery oviously cannot be dropped, unlike the Anker & the Apple's Magnetic Wireless charger. I've personally tested the battery pack from Anker and if enough wiggle is applied, it be dropped, so the question really is if Apple's is just as strong or stronger.
The exact video ive been looking for. You have a great balance of thoroughness and production quality, all in an easily digestible package. Keep it up man!
3.7 for anker is the nominal voltage, the lowest the battery can get. A fully charged li-ion will actually start at 4.2 then gradually go down as the capacity diminishes.
(2:09) It would seem to me that the Apple battery pack minimizes the deterioration of the phones actual battery, and the Anker battery pack will potentially accelerate the phone’s battery deterioration. That to me would imply that for the long run, the Apple battery pack will be more beneficial. Also (1:20), when utilizing pass through charging, it would seem the Apple pack charges phone and battery up to three times quicker on the go. This is a product that needs to a long term testing processes to truly evaluate which one is the better choice. …
Honestly personally, I think the extra little bit of integration, reverse charging (& 15W when plugged in), and battery capacity trade off is worth the extra money.
I feel like I'd still go with the apple battery pack for the integration it has. Battery widget and automatically stopping charge at 90% would be pretty handy, just as a thing to keep with me. Not even sure it I'd keep it on the phone or if I'd slip it on and off occasionally, not having to worry about wires sounds great.
may as welll just get a charging case that way it cant fall off and will be tha same heifht all the way across so you can put your phone in your pocket easier for example jeans
2:05 I have purchased many Anker products, they are excellent. I would MUCH rather have a button to check battery level rather than having to use a phone (which may even be fully discharged), to check battery level. Especially when wanting to charge something other than the phone!
I would have to say, first of all the Magsafe battery pack from Apple looks way better than the other ones!!. Even though everybody says it charge very slow and your phone didn't get 100 % of battery charged. I use it almost every day and it fits and feel very very well in your hand and also on your trousers and of course it's better when you have/use a mag safe AppleCase : My experience the leather and the clear case are better than the silicon cases!!! The same thing with the cases. Everybody's doing commercials about other products that try to be as good as apples but I'm sorry I experience a lot and to me there is no comparison to the Apple products... Apple product are the best for an Iphone or any other product from Apple,, period!..
Professor Joshua Chang’s awesome way of explaining us how important the actual battery capacity and efficiency comparison are, really makes the difference. Keep posting Professor Chang.
I have a different Anker MagSafe powerbank, bought it for $28 from Amazon, it has a flip out stand, no power switch, USC C port can be used to charge any device, so other than that battery optimization feature, Anker is way more value for your money.
This channel will get 100k before the end of the year easily. Really good production values, nice animations and sound. I also like the way you present the information. Good work!
I personally prefer the white Apple one, because it is way thinner and helps me to get through two days of medium use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Although the 109€ were a tough pill to swallow.
Sometimes... I wonder if it'd have just been easier if Apple just upgraded the specs of lightning and used that instead of USB-C.... they'd have only one cable and people would get better unity. But instead, they do this half assed approach.... Either do your own thing, or don't Apple... but don't half ass this...
I bought the apple battery and it makes my iPhone 12 Pro Max (which already felt pretty heavy) feel like there’s a brick on it I’m probably gonna buy the white silicone case to go with it
The new Anker ones are better they 5000mah and 10000mah and no longer a need to press the power button to activate charging, it’s automatic. The product shown here is the older version. The new 5000mah is also thinner than the old one and has three different options. Plain, with a folding stand, and with one of those pop up holders.
Even though the anker battery seems like the better deal, I feel like apples battery pack could be better because of the automatic charging, software intergration, and the lightning port

Why do people think that their phone keeps charging when it gets to 100%?
finally GOOD, SHORT AND FAST film about this. Thanks man.
I like the power button. I can turn it on when my phone hits 40% and turn it off when I'm done. I bought the Anker Battery, I love it.
may as welll just get a charging case that way it cant fall off and will be tha same heifht all the way across so you can put your phone in your pocket easier for example jeans
Very good presentation Joshua.....💯👍👍👌
Professor Joshua Chang’s awesome way of explaining us how important the actual battery capacity and efficiency comparison are, really makes the difference. Keep posting Professor Chang.
it turned into a physics lesson halfway through 😂😂😂
I have a different Anker MagSafe powerbank, bought it for $28 from Amazon, it has a flip out stand, no power switch, USC C port can be used to charge any device, so other than that battery optimization feature, Anker is way more value for your money.
I have an iPhone 11. I notice he uses 12. Does the Anker one you have work for iPhone 11 and iPads?
Since when was not having a power button a feature 😂
Because Apple has done it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Apple be like create a problem and sell solutions
in short wirless power transfer is a NEXT BIG USELESS HYPE!!!!
Apple just knows how to make convenience and then know how to sell it, still impressive products from both sides,
Id still go with a powerbank 🤷🏻♂️
This channel will get 100k before the end of the year easily. Really good production values, nice animations and sound. I also like the way you present the information. Good work!
I personally prefer the white Apple one, because it is way thinner and helps me to get through two days of medium use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Although the 109€ were a tough pill to swallow.
dude the production quality on your channel is amazing! glad to be part of the first 20k :)
Even tho the anker one is better The apple one looks way better on the phone nd easier to hold in hand
Thanks for even calculating the Wh! I love that you do that extra step to deliver content!
subbed for that!
Well made man, especially for how small your channel is. Subbed
Can't even charge to full lmao, what a joke.
Wow he just got my impression hard with all those equations- glad to be part of the first thousands here as well!
U r amazing bro :D keep it up the good work ^^
Sometimes... I wonder if it'd have just been easier if Apple just upgraded the specs of lightning and used that instead of USB-C.... they'd have only one cable and people would get better unity.
But instead, they do this half assed approach....
Either do your own thing, or don't Apple... but don't half ass this...
grams and centimeters?? subscribed lol
oof. I went for iOS integration. So far so good. I have a Mini and just pull the MagSafe out of my pack when it’s getting low.
i feel like the apple not putting the lightning in is logical. If you have an iphone you obviously have a cable.
Ya I’m actually not mad about this. It used to be suck a waste. I have too many.
Xiaomi will be the best with very high Quality and an affordble Price.
And no privacy
Just get a battery case 😐
Your Shirt Need some Ironing
Just found Your channel, content quality is soooo good, as good as top tech channels tbh, so keep it going man 👏
5 watts charging whats the point
I bought the apple battery and it makes my iPhone 12 Pro Max (which already felt pretty heavy) feel like there’s a brick on it I’m probably gonna buy the white silicone case to go with it
The new Anker ones are better they 5000mah and 10000mah and no longer a need to press the power button to activate charging, it’s automatic. The product shown here is the older version. The new 5000mah is also thinner than the old one and has three different options. Plain, with a folding stand, and with one of those pop up holders.
Excellent video! You’ve earned another sub. Road to 100k! :)
The magsafe is total garbage
half the cost, double the capacity, hmmm idk what to do, so hard to choose!!!!!!
thxxxxxx
Even though the anker battery seems like the better deal, I feel like apples battery pack could be better because of the automatic charging, software intergration, and the lightning port
Honestly, knowing the apple one doubles as a magsafe charging puck and provides better charging when plugged in, I might go for that one.
Excuse me!
*thwack*
Use Anker instead!
Wow the Apple one leaves a lot to be desired in the juice department…
The core feature is really lacking there
So... Apple is charging TWICE as much for a white charger that can only charge your phone maybe once, got it. So Anker, right? 😆
