the biggest struggle is: chinese has no Latin root, for that I mean german resemble spanish at some level, and chinese has no resemblance at all to any western language, and the same goes for japanese and vietnamese. even though german is not a latin language it shares almost every single technical, philosophical term from a big western greek-latin influence from ancient Roman Empire (romans were the civilized and "developed" culture. The influence China has had in Japan is analogous.
The guy actually has some Beijing accent! Like the use of "light sound", the inflection in sentences, and certain phrases. I wish I could speak English like he does Chinese.

this guy is a little full of himself. Not all Chinese girls are like that. More and more girls are just dating to date, at least in Hunan. In general, though, Chinese girls (and guys) take dating more seriously than Westeners. But it's hard to make generalizations about an entire culture. Everbody is different and there are a lot of factors involved, like region, upbringing, individual personality. I will say most Chinese girls will say this guy is not responsible.
There are plenty of Chinese girls who are nothing like that, at least in cities like Beijing or Shanghai. What he is describing is China ten years ago. And I find it quite regretful that nerds like him represent foreigners living in China...

Actually, that tone could be 3rd, 4th or light depends on different situations.
