Portuguese people are not Latin, nor are they "categorized as South Amerians" - Portugal is in Europe, as is Spain. Just because those 2 countries speak romance languages doesn't make them Latin people. Funny how you are so sure of yourself.
Right, Portugal is connected to Spain, It's European. I think you mixed up people who speak Portuguese (like Brazilians) with the country. And Mexicans aren't South Americans. They're from Central America, which is technically North America continent wise.
