@OVERwhelmed all seafood is technically halal unless u add stuff that is haram. Certain seafood with poison or can kill is highly not recommended unless if its uni(sea urchin) or fugu(u will need to handle that very carefully)

But i tried one of the ramen shop at jewels, the price after tax is.. crazy just for 2 bowls
They'd better keep them around, the quality at these joints always drops once the daily operations are handed over to the local staff

It's really expensive and kinda meh for it's price tbh. I just went to the tonkotsu king ramen restaurant that Ghib reviewed in his recent video and it taste pretty good as well.. and affordable. Still not as cheap as Japan though
Ghib-san is really getting famous hahahah, when my parents saw u on tv, I was like telling them I got to know Ghib-san through his UA-cam channel!!! All the best Ghib-san!

9:43 I visited Nakano BC's factory when I visited Wakayama last year in January! Made my own umeshu there too. :D Their Temari umeshu are smaller bottles and there's many different flavours which made them perfect as gifts.

I was there dine with my friends last week. Had the Shoga Yaki and Wow! It was amazing! Tender pork and great sauce! The chef did a great job! The Seasonal 🌰 rice and the black vinegar Chicken was delicious too! The rice is one of a kind. The miso soup beats most of the other restaurants too! Great texture and taste! Must try!

Oh my god that Matcha cake reminds me of the kaya cakes you can get at Bengawan solo or Han's. Also reminds me of the kaya swiss rolls from Rich and Good Cake Shop (which incidentally is also located at Jewel!)
