JT8D: Now that's what a jetliner should sound like!
CFM56-3: Huh, a little quieter now, but still great.
CFM56-7: Ok, not too different, still got the buzzsaw.
CFM Leap-1B: Who's this 787 wannabe!?

JT8D: Actually sounds like a jet. Perfect size for the plane.
CFM56-3: A little big, but adorable and great.
CFM56-7B: Quiet large. Very quiet, but the roar is still there. Arguably the last roaring aircraft in development.
CFM LEAP-1B: GeNX? Every new aircraft is going that route. Too quiet. Plane is too small for an engine that sounds like that.
