So, to answer those questions about who Eggman's newer allies were: Infinite appeared in Sonic Forces. He was once a leader of mercenaries hired by Eggman as his security detail. Mercenaries who had the unfortunate luck of getting in Shadow's way. As part of his vengeance, Infinite became the bad doctor's test subject for the Phantom Ruby, giving him the ability to alter reality in the most mind-bending ways. Sage's first appearance was Sonic Frontiers. They kind of already explained her backstory in the analysis: an artificial intelligence made to help control all of Eggman's tech, but interacting with an ancient civilization's cyberspace gave her even greater control and overall intelligence. In time, she even grew to care for the doctor as a father figure, which Eggman even reciprocated. Sidenote: I love the alternate scenarios in the final analysis; it's like they were saying, "There are so many ways this fight could play out, we didn't have time to put it all in the final product." And yet that final product still kicked butt.
The thing i love the most about the alternate scenarios is that the animation didn’t devolve into time eater and dreamy bowser chucking universes at each other like so many others with similarly powerful characters do. It stayed grounded throughout and i respect that they sacrificed showing off the most powerful forms in favor of a better product.
The Phantom Ruby doesn't alter reality _per se,_ it's more that it hacks the perception of living things to create hyper-realistic illusions. Tails likens it to a dream so real that if your dreaming self bumped their hand, your sleeping self would get bruised.
I’ve seen every episode of Death Battle and this one is most definitely in my top 3, it might be my favourite of all time but I need more time to digest it to be sure.
when watching the death battle myself the moment Bowser Jr. got knocked out I thought he was dead but I was so happy he was alive in the end, and Bowser shielding his army and using magic to protect against Infinite's power felt awesome.

Yeah, IIRC, pretty much the only good thing about Infinite is his character/boss theme. Other than that he's a really shallow character whose whole thing is "I'm not weak!" and then he promptly gets humiliated. Hence why Infinite getting humiliated by having a Thwomp dropped on his head is very fitting.
This fight is really close as both characters have quite a few win cons which can give either the win. But I would go with Bowser as he has more consistent win cons and bowser himself outstat and outhax eggman in a 1v1. Add in his army backing him up Bowser with better teamwork compared to Eggman's army but both being really close in hax but bowser's trump cards are a little bit better, for example Saga can only being effective with tech based enemies and Bowser can just change eggman's robot to other things which nullify Saga's tech based powers but death battle didn't include the titans from frontiers who were fought against current sonic and Eggman can use them from Saga. Overall Bowser high diff in my opinion
Mario and Luigi Partners in Time is so good but its Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is what your talking about I recently got it because the newest one Brothership was coming out and I want to beat all the games because they are all known to be fun and really good but my favorite one was Bowser's Inside Story that one was so fun.
You should definitely play Sonic X Shadow Generations as well as Bowser Furry. Both similar ideas as they are a smaller new game bundled with a remaster and both good
@Rykage_ if it helps, there IS a project currently very far in progress that is a single person remaking the entire Sonic 06 game but much better named Project 6 (I believe) Also, someone is working on a mod for the steam (I think) version of Sonic adventure 2 that improves a lot of things, most notably graphics and adding gameplay features
@PacifriskYT I’ve got Project 06, at least a version if it, don’t think it’s up to date but I’m so glad someone’s doing that! I’m one of those rare few that despite its flaws, loved 06 as a kid 😂
@Rykage_ in the original game silver was actually busted due to you being able to tap his levitating ability to skip large amounts of his stages, and in the multiplayer vs, skip up to ⅔ of the stage, which Sonic or shadow won't be able to catch up. Also in the Japanese release by falling off while pushing one single box in the main town (or something like that), the game will glitch out and immediately pull up the end credits EDIT: Not to mention in one newer sonic game (sonic boom I believe), they managed to somehow miss that knuckles got an extra jump when you paused the game, allowing you to go anywhere and break almost everything in that game

Sonic Heroes is probably my favortite Sonic game I love the idea of 3 on each team Speed Fly and Power the story for each one is honestly cool Metal Sonic being main big baddy was so cool but I never finished it because Team Dark's Missions are so hard.

there are things I left out especially with infinite, metal sonic and the titans but I didn't want to do a long ass scale on those charcters 💀

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is by far the best game in the series. And the 2nd one is great too. And they both have way more content than the first game.
