Side note - I actually like the fact that you just continue filming and don't start over, or complain or something, about people making noise in the background. We can still hear you clearly. I think some people who upload on YT are too hyper sensitive about the lawn mower that's 3 streets over and vaguely picked up on their camera.
Being Italian, I can't help but smile as I see you lifting next to the picture of the great Franco Columbu :)
As an aside, I train in Ecuador at Columbu's.

Is it ok to train this with fat gripz on a normal bar as being the gym i train does not have axle bars
I am sure it is a plus. However, barbell ends tends to spin while an axle doesn't. It makes the axle more difficult.
