17:51 Better callouts DO exist in WT, the thing is they only exist in modes with markers. Being able to target an enemy and use the chat menu callout on them is INCREDIBLY useful in Ground AB (and Air RB, for calling targets/intentions), I wish there was some way it could be implemented to Ground RB.

from what I recall, the story behind the su-100y is that a proposed heavy tank design, the t-100 (similar to the smk), had been canceled in favor of a competing design that would eventually become the KV series. Instead of scrapping the one prototype that had been built, the engineers said 'fuck it' and sawed off the turrets, replacing them with the biggest gun they could fit at the time mounted in a casemate.

Yo Phlop, there’s an option to keep the gun locked when you’re in freecam mode instead of keeping the gun in the direction you froze it at. It’s great for keeping the gun steadyfor a corner when you want to check your surroundings.

im pretty sure the old aphe round used to have something like 230 pen, but not 100% on that
Got nerfed when the new penetration system was made like a lot of Soviet guns. Probably a lot closer to what it was in reality, but this on top of volumetric shenanigans has negatively impacted the performance of most large caliber guns, which Russia are very much known to focus on. At least for this one it's not important, since all that it really needs to do is being able to take down tigers and panthers from the front, as these are the main nemesis of these games that the smaller guns are going to have issues dealing with. The optics on the gun are also the best any Soviet guns will get until the IS-2, though without a rangefinder (which I'm pretty sure thing thing was equiped with), lack of depression and massive size, it's rather bad at sniping.
I have been having great enjoyment with it however thanks to a friend in a jumbo. His role is to round out corners, getting the always camping tigers to lose their shots and reveal themselves, where i can wheel around at full speed and drift a shot into their ass.

Yah know the Russians had plans to mount one of its 152mm Naval Cannons into a tank, never happened. But it would have been a KV2 on steroids
The KV-2 already had a 152mm howitzer. At that caliber during the war nothing had enough armor to shrug off an he shell like it was nothing, let alone if it had been firing an ap round.
