You need a solar lamp. It works with UV light. Unless you are flithy rich and can afford all the energy needed to power solar lamps everywhere in your house, and you have a grudge against coal/natural gas/whatever your powerplant uses, it won't work inside.
The solar-car at the beginning - I bought the exact same one off of ebay for $1, but the only difference is ~ mine works really good. Bought it about 2 years ago, tried it for a few days, & it worked perfectly. Haven't tried it since, but that's a bummer your's didn't work.. All it does is go forward at a rather brisk pace. I then used the top of a straw to hold it in the air while the sun beat down on it, went inside & did some things, came back a half hour later & it was still running strong. My ultimate plan for it would be to make some sort of LED contraption to hook into the solar panel, but.. what good is an LED on a sunny day? Hmm..

" The model they got for the packaging even had the ridiculous oversized mustache that Live Action Chef Excellence had.
Like Stuart stated, Chef Tony from Stateside is / was NOT a professional chef, but years ago he did infomercials (both of advertisement length and of the 30 minute kind) for several "as seen on TV" cooking products bearing his photo including knives. At least he did physically the commercials unlike Chef Excellence here (boo hoo!)...
I've never actually seen any Chef Tony products in stores, but I do recall seeing him on infomercials for some kind of knife set 15-ish years ago.
