I played a match of this a long time ago, rented a mech, I got the little 3 wheeler and well I was like, crap. So on the map I was on the air drops were near a tower that the ai's seemed to ignore, grabbing the cash drops throughout the game of an hour I racked up around a 1-3 mil (hazy memory) so I was like, GREAT HAUL lets just get out, but as I was exiting the respawn ticked and I got blown up from the newly spawned mechs. D:
I have a question. On the original PS2 console, the game tends to lag pretty badly when there's a lot of action. Does the game lag when you play it on emulator? I've never emulated a game before, but I'd like to play SLAI again.
Saucy Jacky You mean bugs? Any bugs in emulated games that aren't graphical are usually in the game itself or caused by the emulator settings. For me there weren't any bugs. But due to the nature of emulators your mileage may vary. You can make these games run a bit better by adjusting the emulator settings but that only does so much and usually the changes do nothing or make things worse. IE if I improved graphics in Destroy All Humans 2, the performance tanks.
What kind of options should I set for this to work this well? I beat Phantom Crash a couple weeks ago, and I just found there was a sequel but I got some kind of weird flashing on the Konami screen when I started the game in PCSX2...
I had to use my original Xbox and an old copy of the game I'd picked up something like 10 years ago... Unfortunately Xbox emulation isn't feasible because of the various Nvidia chipsets and the specific video decoding hardware the Xbox required. There're a couple emulators out but they're barely functional, though I recall there being a couple more in development...

+Canis Majoris Sometimes it lags while on the elevator and while loading. But its mostly stable.
So does it work with no viruses? Or at least some but hardly noticable?

+Illumighandi/Allied Schweinehund I use GSDx10. Direct3D11 software for the renderer. No promises because it really depends on your system.
