Yeah, the Rick & Morty voices are pretty spot on. Maybe the Rick is a tiny bit less raspy but I fully agree like 99% of people won't notice. Voice actors in cartoons are pretty talented people. Like, did you know, in the original Lion King, Jeremy Irons only sings about two thirds of Be Prepared and the final verse is done by voice actor Jim Cummings because Jeremy Irons was experiencing vocal problems.

But also: Quaquaval's dancing is actually based on Samba and similar dances, its design also taking a lot of inspo from the dance costumes for Carnaval, and a lot of its animations for attacks come from Capoeira. lol talking about spider ratios, i was on acid one time when I realised something, I call it the Universal Spider Constant; no matter where you are, what you're doing, who you're with etc, at ALL times there is a spider within 6 feet of you. Maybe it's under your couch, on a tree, under a rock etc, it's there. It has no desire to harm you or anything like that, it's just a spider living its spider life, doing its spider things. But it IS there. I still dont exactly like spiders, but now I'm never freaked out or surprised when one suddenly pops up because yeah, as per the Universal Spider Constant, it was always there

But also: Quaquaval's dancing is actually based on Samba and similar dances, its design also taking a lot of inspo from the dance costumes for Carnaval, and a lot of its animations for attacks come from Capoeira. It's very Brazilian-coded (which to me as a South American and huge pokemon fan I think is neat!)
As an older cis woman i don't want "Guys" to go anywhere. Unlike "Mankind" which is formal and can should be changed easily, "Guys" is casual and natural.
The downside is, it can be so casual that a person could say it accidentally when a Transwoman, AMAB non binary person or sometimes a Cis woman in a group of men in a male dominated field.
