Phil in 2011 is one of the best physiques that graced the olympia stage. Shame that drug abuse has ruined every mr olympia champion overtime since they hit their peak. Lee haney is the last olympia champion that retired with a better package than his beginning physique. Kinda sad
The sad thing is that almost no one gives phil credit for his 2011-2013 physique. The man was practically perfect apart from clavicle width. I think Phil kinda contributes to this bias though, with his polarizing comments clouding the judgment of some fans

He had these terrible slope shoulders, with no rear delts. his tricep development was subpar and was the reason why he never showed them off. His forearm development was pityful compared to Phil's. Arnold was taller just as Lou Ferrigno was taller than Arnold. Phil Heath outweighed Arnold by over 20 lb. Much larger at a smaller height. in a modern contest Arnold wouldn't even make the top 10. Phil absolutely obliviates Arnold here. And if you're talking about the abuse of PEDs, Arnold had heart problems in the mid-90s because of the drugs he was consuming. Whenever anyone talks about Arnold not having legs, they always use 1975 or 1980 as an example. From 1970 to 1974, arnold has great quads. I actually prefer the leg development of bodybuilders from the the 70's through the early 90's to today's legs. Tom Platz was ahead of his time, but I preferred Paul Demayo's legs to Platz's. Platz had those overdeveloped hip adductors that I think takes away from the lines of the quads.

Whenever anyone talks about Arnold not having legs, they always use 1975 or 1980 as an example. From 1970 to 1974, arnold has great quads. I actually prefer the leg development of bodybuilders from the the 70's through the early 90's to today's legs. Tom Platz was ahead of his time, but I preferred Paul Demayo's legs to Platz's. Platz had those overdeveloped hip adductors that I think takes away from the lines of the quads.
