I used to live a couple of miles from there. I recognized the park as soon as I saw it. I didn't go for the trout in the creek too much. I went for the smallmouths mostly. Live crayfish and small crankbaits worked the best for me.
Stocked trout are put in to be eaten, as soon as it gets too warm they die off anyway. The stamps pay for the stocking, so everyone should take them if they catch them.

Where I live there is a small lake, large pond, that has limited access. No motors allowed on the water. It has some huge Rainbow, Cutthroat and Brown Trout. You can also catch big catfish, smallmouth and largemouth.
Is it fast flowing water? Fast flowing water takes a little while to learn how to fish, other then that just give it a second to drop in the water and slow real

There’s a trout hatchery a few miles from where I live. They have a pond full of breeder fish that people can feed. There are a couple of lake trout in it that are at least 4 feet long.
In my small hometown there's a tiny town that used to have a sign saying no fishing, but I guess the hurricanes blew the sign away because it's gone, so I've been fishing it. There's nothing there but tiny bluegill, but it's still fun. I fish any water for anything.
