Usually the stands we've planted in other fields take a year or so to thicken up, but in these drought circumstances of 2016 and 17, much of the seed actually laid dormant until this spring where I think at least 40% more plants germinated even though the last seating we planted was in the fall of 2017. It was pretty amazing to see. Just took rain!
