- Today we give our beautiful female Brachypelma Boehmii aka Mexican Fire Leg Tarantula a beautiful new nature inspired enclosure.
Using materials we have at home as well as a short visit to the Nature Store and we have everything we need to make a breathtaking enclosure fit for the Queen!
I hope you enjoy todays video.
Let me know what you think of the build.
Cheers!
Biggs
She’s Beautiful I have one as well I ❤never knew how gorgeous they are
I always enjoy watching a fellow tarantula keeper take the time to make an enclosure unique and fitting to the species.
Very kind thank you, pretty much all my enclosure builds are nature inspired
I knew I wasn’t the only person that walks into there backyard for natural things for an enclosure
Moss sticks leaves ect are all free but people pay for them
I try to source as much as I can from the nature store
Nicely done, love the enclosure, I have a store behind me, it's where I now get all my bits n pieces from, even the living plants, can't beat it. 👍🏻
Love it! More people need to visit the nature store
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 Exactly, providing its not near a road, there's nothing that's gonna hurt your animals, I use it all in with my snakes too now.
Great video as always.
Thanks so much my friend
She is very pretty and I really like the grass you put in.
Very kind Barb, thank you
She’s beautiful ‼️ Really nice set up 😊
Thank you, that’s very kind
Beautiful specimen! Thanks for showing the hairy throwing aspect in action....i’d never seen that being done, only the bald patches left after the event. Nicely done
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 very good stuff you are putting in your videos. Hard to believe i was a kid with arachnophobia
Where is the cage label from? It’s so cool!
I get all my labels for all the critters from Jarod Page on Facebook. Always done great work
I love my AF, she also kicks hairs for fun and is skittish atm so hoping she becomes calmer with next moult lol, funny coz my AF B hamorii was chilled until she moulted now she’s skittish 😂😂, great video and she’s gorgeous buddy 👍🫶
Ah, we got to the same store for our enclosures 😆Nice video mate.
It’s a pretty amazing store most don’t visit enough
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 I found some awesome flat millipedes today in my store, British version of the pink dragons :)
@@themantisgarden very VERY jealous
I like it
Thank you
Mine hasn't kicked hairs at me this molt, in over a month lol. Before that, it was burried for over 2 months and would kick if I lifted the tape to check on it even. It's still under 2" but giving me a little hope it might be a chill one.
So the hairs bother you? They don’t seem to affect me at all however I am still cautious to not get them in my eyes, nose or mouth. I do know several that get horrible reactions to them.
@@themadaquaristsrealmnatura2556 I'm not sure yet if they do. I'm pretty sensitive and allergic to lots of things, so probably. I remember the hairs from Grammastola rosea even did as a kid when they got on my arms. I assume they won't be fun. L. klugi is the only other one with hairs I got so far, trying to just keep it to a minimum.
@@JasonBooth79 YIKES! Be careful Dude
@@themadaquarist I haired myself last night on the ankle with L. klugi somehow. Must've been like one little hair, was being so careful and yeah it's brutal lol. It's never kicked but I guess I touched a molting mat or something. I fell asleep after an hour of burning so I'm not sure how long it lasted, but was like I just walked through wet stinging nettles was exactly what it felt like, definitely getting some gloves.
@@JasonBooth79 yikes! That’s crazy. Sorry for you my friend i fully understand your nettle comparison as we have it in the farm but thankfully the hairs thus far have had little
To no affect.
I think it's too small and over crowded
Thank you for your comment. She has made it her own. She rambles all over the grass. If I had used harder materials I would definitely agree and have changed it already. She seems content
