Hi mate, I’ve got a juvie of these, hasn’t eaten since January . Will not molt for me.
Michael Sutcliffe don’t worry! mine goes months without eating. I think during the colder weather they slow down on the eating anway. This one also hasn’t eaten since about January!

Does The Mexican Fireleg Tarantula eat meal worms
Golden State Warriors Fan I believe any tarantula can eat mealworms I feed my Ts a mix of meal worms, crickets and Dubia roaches. Be carful with the worms and roaches though because they like to burrow straight away, you can crush the heads so they don’t burrow but still wriggle enough for the T to get interested!

Golden State Warriors Fan shouldn’t be a problem at all! Just supervise it after you offered it to the tarantula to make sure it doesn’t loose the worm and let it burrow! I’m dropping a video tonight where I feed a 2” tarantula a meal worm so look out for it!
