THIS is the kind of guide I've been looking for forever. Yiuve explained HOW to play the game rather than go on and on about perks and attributes ans numbers.
I played the original when it first came out, and just recently decided to jump into the 2.0/ phantom Liberty variant of the game and what a difference. I'm 53 hours into my first playthrough and there is still so much I haven't discovered in this game. Admittedly I'm taking my time. I'm going very slow and I'm learning all I can as I play because it's so deep.
@@Renfail yeah it really is, even saying huge difference doesn't really do it justice. It's as if they released a second game with an apology note attached saying sorry about this joke a few years ago LOL.
Haha, the ending had me chuckling with the police. I rarely do anything to attract their attention but I did shoot a civilian once because they ran over my Scorpion motorcycle that was basically right beside the curb. I was able to duck and hide from police and got a text from Mitch saying he approved of what I did 😅
Man, I'm only halfway through the video, but so far this is like the best guideline to the game. I waited for the 2.0 because I read many things (not too nice things) about the original release, and I've been told the game is ready with this patch. I can tell you, love the game, and love this video 👍
Thank you, Great straightforward guide. Just bought the game and starting new game on 2.0 level - Xbox . Spent 150 hours on starfield and this just seems next level compared.
I spent my time before doing dex’s mission at the beginning doing gigs and I have 6 hours gameplay and a little over 300,000 eddies i highly recommend doing so.
Thanks for this, very useful. I'm a pretty casual gamer, and at about twelve hours into Cyberpunk I had about a 50% understanding of how all of the systems/choices worked. Reckon I'm up to over 80% now, many thanks! About a week ago I got totally flummoxed/stuck trying to beat Oda(?), so have spent the last week working on (slowly) building my character so that, in the words of Inigo Montoya, the next time we meet I will not fail...
A little late but im getting back into cyberpunk for the dlc finally and theyve changed so much its crazy, just wanna say thanks for not spoiling things even the things i already know about lol. Really makes a video helpful without ruining the game
Just started a couple weeks ago while I wait for elden ring dlc and struggling to get started. Your guide is so thorough and I feel a lot better now. Liked and subscribed.
Appreciate the guide, getting into the game now and there's a ton of systems! Still in the prologue, figured it'd be best to do a little research before missing a ton of content.
I’m new, as in I abandoned the ps4 version 3 years ago and can’t remember much of the start now, partly because I couldn’t get it to work. Ps5 now. So, thanks.
I have very low street cred for a vehicle but the city citizens are so kind to "loan" me their vehicle that I'm never without a ride. 😉 A tip on the new player: You can choose the map category and map items so it's not so confusing. Once you find a location, simply right click it which gives a dotted line to it's location in your minimap, making navigating easy.
I've been waiting to play this even though I've had 2 copies one for xbox one for ps4. Now I'm gunna start a playthough on ps5 with the dlc. Thanks for the tips
I think they changed it so once you have a clothing item in your inventory (not stash btw) you can sell or scrap it and use it as cosmetic in the wardrobe. Only items with armor or other modifiers you kind of want to keep.
@Renfail there are some but its so weak that it don't really matter, example like 12 resistance against chemicals or 10 armor. Doesn't really make a difference lol
@@Mystra 25 armor, 15% more damage to quick hack (runner outfit), 7% melee damage reduced, some % aiming quicker.. Yeah they're pretty meaningless for level 45 that I am currently. But maybe that's enough, anything more might break something to overpowered
@djnorth2020 That's kinda my point though like they're useless until 45-50 and at that point your cybertech is too good anyway. I think they might as well just remove all stats from gear. Since you pick up so many items that has none, especially level 1 to 30.

Some clothing items have stat boosters! Use your outfits for your look, then equip items with stat boosters into you actual clothing slots. Keep the fashion with some minor stat boosts, like 25 armour from some rare vests.
Once you get a little further in the game, occasionally you will find pieces of armor that do offer little stat boosts but you don't have to change the way you look because allows say 30% More armor so don't discount picking up clothing because you think "I like the way the character looks" because once you get farther in you will start seeing clothing that offer little bonuses

How is a voice misleading? It’s not like he can choose how he sounds? That’s an odd thing to say. Have you heard how most 20 year olds talk now? Most aren’t very smart IMO, he sounds mature and rational.
Left buying this till now because of all the issues but can honestly say this version of the game lives up to the hype the initial 2018 gameplay video generated. It mist definitely feels like an rpg and it's build system has way more complexity than W3. I would say the decisions you make in w3 are more meaningful but the immersion of CP77 is completely unrivaled it forces you to roleplay as V in this world in a similar way to RDR2 with first person animations for almost anything that you can't skip. Play RDR2 in FPS mode and it feels very similar to this

And that has ZERO to do with the video at hand, so your comment is pointless. Thx for stopping by to pay my bills at least.
That's a compliment in my book. H's got more mature wisdom to impart with greying hair. 🙂
Play RDR2 in FPS mode and it feels very similar to this
it's a great game.
To fully understand Cyberpunk you will need a degree in logistics...It is way to complicated...
Nah, you just need a standard intelligence.
It looks confusing but after a couple days of playing, it's pretty easy. Give it a chance.
😮😢
Cyberpunk is complicated as fuck...Even after watching vids...
Which is what makes it awesome :)
