Thank You. The general idea is to learn in a structured manner and then quickly switch to comprehensible input. In case of Kannada, watch TV serials. UA-cam has many free episodes of popular kannada channels. If one is motivated, then he/she needs to loop through the same episode atleast 10 times, in 0.5 speed on youtube.

@@correctkannada9172 very true. If I had seen these videos few years back, I would have finished learning kannada by now. The author is good at both english and kannada.

    Kannada - Tamil
    Maadu - sei / pannu
    Nodu - Nokku
    Kelu - Kel(u)
    Nadi - nada(i)
    kudi - kudi
kaai - kaa (old tamil) kaathiru
saa - saa (old tamil) saavu
    iddi - iru
    aag - aagu
    kodu - kodu
nagu - nagu (old tamil) siri
    alu - alu
    thin - thinn(u)
Tharu means give in tamil, but in kannada it means bring. Still Relatable
Malag - mallaka padu means lie down facing up. Still very relatable
    - malandhutan means fell down.
idu means put in tamil. In kannada it means keep. Vai means keep in tamil. Vai also means put in tamil. So still relatable.
thogol - i guess it should be similar to thakka vaithu kol -- meaning keep it with you.

Beg to differ on one note though .. Anisuvudu..to feel. The noun form wud take ke/ge/ige vibhakti pratyaya. The tenses for this word in first vibhakti don't seem to fit well.
