Kannada - Tamil Maadu - sei / pannu Nodu - Nokku Kelu - Kel(u) Nadi - nada(i) kudi - kudi kaai - kaa (old tamil) kaathiru saa - saa (old tamil) saavu iddi - iru aag - aagu kodu - kodu nagu - nagu (old tamil) siri alu - alu thin - thinn(u) Tharu means give in tamil, but in kannada it means bring. Still Relatable Malag - mallaka padu means lie down facing up. Still very relatable - malandhutan means fell down. idu means put in tamil. In kannada it means keep. Vai means keep in tamil. Vai also means put in tamil. So still relatable. thogol - i guess it should be similar to thakka vaithu kol -- meaning keep it with you.
Beg to differ on one note though .. Anisuvudu..to feel. The noun form wud take ke/ge/ige vibhakti pratyaya. The tenses for this word in first vibhakti don't seem to fit well.
