I’ve recently been watching through EVERY film which has ever been nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars and I have to say, it is even more embarrassing than I thought that the medium is considered as something ‘just for kids’ I haven’t seen all of the films but I’ll use Anomalisa as an example. That movie is a surreal, existential, psychological drama which covers heavy themes alongside coarse language and a sex scene. Perfect for the kids! I just don’t understand what these films do differently which means that they can’t be nominated for other awards. Spider-Verse absolutely deserved a best cinematography nomination this year and so many of these films deserve Best Picture nominations. One of my friends said that Boy and the Heron and Across the Spider-Verse were both infinitely better than Maestro (which was a Best Picture nom this year) Anyway, this was a great video
It's so disappointing that animation is such a disrespected medium of film-making. It's as simple as it's not simply a genre. I think I'll forever be upset with Boss Baby's nomination.
So lucky I got to see this on it's first 100 views, I'm sure you'll reach many many more, loved it!

Of all the movies that could’ve been nominated…
A Silent Voice should’ve won that year.
Love the videos, man. Keep it up!!!
SATOSHI KON WAS ROBBED! HE should have been nominated more than once!
Great video

I agree there is a pixar/disney bias cause there is no way toy story 4 should have won or frozen
