Hi Maggie, love your reactions!!! I never saw you react to a "Fado". Do you know this musical genre? It's typical from Portugal and I'm sure you'll love it!!! If you want to react to one, I propose that you listen "Mariza - Gente da minha terra Live in Lisboa" just to introduce you and make you a fan :)
Diana Ankudinova performing "Crow" from last week. Arguments going around and around on the web over whether or not she sings "ha" after her repeated "Yay-yay", or if the "ha" is done by a backup singer. Need your expert opinion.
I'd love to see you go through Dimash's Stranger
Its also a bit of an earworm, so, you know, might want to bookmark it.
Pentatonix - Run To You (i was told it was written by Avi himself) - I promise you you have never heard anything like that from PTX before...This song was covered many times and is a PTX classic...First time i heard it i started to cry because of its bittersweet sound....
I love PTX and i love seeing people react to them ... i found your channel yesterday and was happy to see that you recently reacted to PTX again....
Run To You is so different from the other PTX songs or i would say one of a kind....No instruments, pure singing....one of their first songs....
If you haven't listened to Luciano Pavarotti, Brian Eno, Bono, The Edge - Miss Sarajevo (Live) it's one of my favorite songs ever performed.
When he sings Nessun dorma, I’m always trying very hard not to cry. It is just overwhelming.

That feeling is God touching your Spirit!
Don’t fight it, let it wash over you, ball your eyes out and enjoy the Glory of God!
I also try... But I always fail...
This video would've been really funny if Pavarotti had stopped during his singing to give his reaction and analysis of the girl's singing of the piece.
You and me both!
There are just no words, literally the best voice of all time. There will never be another Pavarotti. EVER
To me, Pavarotti is another Caruso. Same level
Absolutely not the best . Favourite romantic. For fun try Dmitry Hvorostovsky Kak molody my byli. Listen to Caruso.
This version of the aria ALWAYS makes me cry. Even before I looked up the lyrics. Absolutely amazing. The music and the performance goes far beyond language.
Pavarotti was the first opera singer I ever heard and I was mesmerized from the first sound. Growing up, I listened to him every chance I got and I believe he is the reason I was interested in musical theater. Thank you Maggie. Very few reactors cover his materiel even though he had such a profound impact on the world. He was the first Rock Star Opera Singer.
So glad you enjoyed! 🤗💖
It is so cool to hear you professionally break down his performance and provide great insight into his technique. ⭐
Glad you enjoyed it! ⭐😊💖
Agreed.

Pavarotti... the only man that gives me chills... LOL, what a pleasure, Maggie, a unique tenor for sure, bravo!! That last part, uffff, still shooketh!! Another top ten reaction!! 😀💥⭐🌟
Glad you enjoyed it! ⭐😊💖
This video of Pavarotti is one of the best for reactions. People who have never heard opera or Pavarotti touched or even weeping by the end of this. Amazing.

Loved your reaction Maggie!
Everyone knows , "that knows". that Luciano Pavarotti was and still is the greatest operatic tenor ever !
Thank you for your lovely comment. Did you like the new reaction video I just posted? Hope to see you TONIGHT on my LIVE stream www.twitch.tv/MaggieReneeMusic?
You cannot believe how this was received by tens of millions of fans of football ( soccer) during the 1990 World Cup , that was held in Italy , it really brought him to a whole new global audience , and one of the most famous players at the time was an Italian , by the name of Roberto Baggio who had the nickname of The Divine Ponytail , due to his hairstyle , it was a football romance , that ended badly for them , but just made the song even more poignant ..Brings the chills every time , and we are all secret opera singers for this one lol ..
The power and passion in his voice is just unparalleled. I love that you have broadened my musical horizons so greatly. There is so much to appreciate in all genres- metal to a cappella to edm to opera. Keep the diversity coming! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
YAY! Glad you enjoyed it! ⭐😊💖
He was a one of kind voice!!! He had a rare ability to make you feel the emotion behind the song...
That puppy is the greatest animal, mimic, operatic ventriloquist ever!
If you don't get choked up watching this, are you even human? 😢
That was great, Maggie - as a tenor myself (though I hardly dare call myself one in this company) it’s lovely to hear your professional analysis of his voice production.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Did you like the new reaction video I just posted? Hope to see you TONIGHT on my LIVE stream www.twitch.tv/MaggieReneeMusic?
The man. The myth. The legend. What an extraordinary man and such an exquisite voice.
😊
His breath control/technique never fails to astound me. The fact that you almost never actually see him breathe is phenomenal
Full disclosure. I participated in the Pavarotti competition in Modena back in the 80’s and his first wife, Adua, was my agent in Italy. He worked with me on my first Duca and he was an incredible friend and mentor. A little secret - he hated studying but he had such a great feeling for everything he sang. I still miss him.
No one comes close, not only because he was technically magnificent, but because he felt the music deeply and makes you feel it every time he sings!
Pavarotti is my favorite tenor by far. As a tenor myself, I always find myself in awe of his voice. No one sings like he did.

I got to see him at the Met performing Il Trovatore back around 1978. He was amazing.
Pavarotti!! 🤩🤩🤩 He's my favorite tenor, too. Nothing can top this performance. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it! ⭐😊💖

You should look in to the tenor Jussi Björling, apperently Pavarotti said in an intervju that he could only hope to sing as well as Jussi.
I think the cover adds to the piece. It just shows another skill he was able to do so well, and letting his voice return to full range at the end of the note sounds so great.
Brava! Pavarotti e basta!🇮🇹 Nessun altro come lui💓!
What a man really, firm in feeling - strong and gentle... RIP Master!
...and what a beautiful voice you have also!! Go get it! :-)

My favorite Puccini opera...even without Nessun Dorma.
i been listening to him for 50 years when i was 3 i said play the man for me mommy lol
"Pavarotti... e basta" best sentence ever 👍
LOL! Thanks! 🤗
When I first heard Pavarotti, I was mesmerized and dumbstruck. I was an immediate fan. Since then I have heard many, many performances by other tenors. His mastery eclipses all of them, even the great Caruso. To me, he is the greatest vocalist of all time. [Also a big fan of Kathleen Battle.]
Nice breakdown. Thank you!
Thank you! 😊💖

Ascoltatelo negli anni ‘70/80… impressionante ❤
Yey! This gives me hope. I love music but cannot read music for anything. So happy to hear that the same was with a legend in opera. ⭐⭐⭐ Love this performance.

My dad loved opera in general and I was introduced to Pavarotti thru him. I sat up one night shortly after learning of his passing, trolling thru youtube for every Pavarotti performance I could find and bawled like a baby for hours! He made it look so easy!!! *sigh* Total fangirl here. He was and is forever THE TENOR.
Who would have thought a classical singer like Pavarotti could have what might be considered a "groupie", but Maggie.....I think you qualify! Amazing breakdown. Thank you from someone who knows nothing other than my ears tell me this man is special.
There is a movie of his father singing in his Italian home town. Why should I be surprised that his father sounds like he does. Fabulous.
first time i heard him i was watching A mirror with two faces w barbara streisand and jeff bridges and at the end they played him and i4 fell in love w opera music.i dedicated this song to my friend as he was diagnosed w cancer.
Incoming eargasm starting around 8:55.
Seriously, I don't care if you're not into opera at all, there is no way in hell you don't get goosebumps when he builds up to and hits THAT NOTE.
A legend who can never and will never be duplicated!
This particular performance is flawless. Everything is perfect. Orchestra, chorus, conduction, and, of course, Luciano.
Great reaction, I grew up hearing Mario lanza, he was my late father's favorite singer, he played his records all the time, I read Pavarotti and Domingo grew up listening to lanza and that he was a big influence on there careers.

Pavarotti’s performance is just incredibly good. This is one of my favorite arias and when I first heard Pavarotti sing it, I was floored. Your reaction is really terrific, a very informative detailed analysis of the techniques being used while at the same time a clearly heartfelt enjoyment of the music itself. Editing is first class. And we discover that not only does the puppy play killer guitar solos as in other videos but he is a world class tenor as well! ⭐
LOL! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it! ⭐😊💖

That is a proud man.
Pavarotti e BASTA. BRAVA! hahahaha hi from Italy
I just watched Austin Brown & Rob Lundquist, both tenors of HOME FREE, sing "Nessun Dorma"!!! Have tissues!!! AMAZING!!!
it's almost like he just opens his mouth and the sound comes out - effortless x
He sanged it so many times. He's the man.
Luciano the legend!!!
Speaking of "knocking it out of the park" - this concert was at Dodger Stadium, with Frank Sinatra and many other notables in the audience. Zubin Mehta returned to conduct the LA Philharmonic and LA Master Chorale.
Confess that when I hear others sing this I can’t help but imagine trees weeping that they created oxygen for anyone other than Pavarotti.
⭐⭐⭐ before I found you Pavarotti was the only opera virtuoso I had ever listened to and appreciated for his skill and abilities phenomenal singer
Awww, thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it! ⭐😊💖
he was channeling that from somehwere...lol...I am from the deep sout but me and my Mom dearly loved this man, something I will never forget, Thanks you B E A U tiful young lady !

You have the best speaking voice, so clear. And I have seen Pavarotti live, unforgettable, although he did not do Nessun dorma.
AH Maggie, the KING OF OPERA himself, Luciano Pavarotti! El Maestro! Maybe, just maybe, the greatest male vocalist of all time. Cheers to you for finally reacting to this LEGEND! RIP EL Maestro, RIP!
You mean IL Maestro...EL is Spanish and he was Italian
@@newgen85 comes from the same root language: Latin. (aka the Romance languages)
@@justafreethinkerok..so I can call Bruce Springsteen DER Boss..
@@newgen85 sounds cool
I've seen/heard recordings of other Pavarotti performances of Nessun Dorma, and when he was younger he held that last note a lot longer. But I think where he cut it in this performance meshes better with the orchestra. At this stage in his career, though, his technique from experience makes his voice sound richer and fuller. And the passion he channels through this performance in particular is second to none.
He's as good an actor as well as a tenor. Every performance he gives it all
I cannot resist to cry every time I hear that aria... Btw your italian is great! "Pavarotti e basta!" makes me think you speak it very well.
I saw him live and is one of the highlights of my life
Thanks for posting! Just wish my dad could have lived to hear Pavarotti.
His forehead never changes, he opens his mouth and the air clicks open, it clicks closed. No stress on the face. BTW, Turandot is an outrageously great story and it saddens me people see this gem, not know the words or setting (come morning, I'm kicking ass!) and ignore this fun action, thriller opera.
I read he practiced so much he drove his family crazy!!
This was great-your descriptions & explanations of what he was doing, why he was doing it, and how he was doing it were wonderful! I saw Pavarotti at the Kennedy Center twice in the 1980s, and Nessus Dorma was the encore at one of them! His ability to be heard even when he was singing very softly-in recital, no microphone-was incredible. My top two musical performances? The Beatles in 1966 and Pavarotti in Tosca at the Met in 1987❤️
Love your video, as always⭐️
everyone's sung it....nobody has matched Pavarotti.....technical excellence and sweet tone.....i think of cover like muting a trumpet..... have you heard Ed Sheeran and Bocelli duet of "perfect".....i'm glad you were there to interrupt .....otherwise i always cry during this, holy cheese muffins !!!!
Thank you for your comment. Did you like the new reaction video to Andrea Bocelli I just posted?
So interesting I came across your reaction on this today. I happened to re-watch this whole Three Tenors concert last evening. There are so many great moments through the whole concert. I love this music as only an observer with the emotions it raises in me. I can only imagine, as a trained opera singer, the emotions this must bring to you. Love your reaction videos!
😊 Hope to see you TONIGHT: ua-cam.com/video/Bzan_Nmd1wQ/v-deo.html
Pavarotti and Bocelli are my faves.

Beautiful just beautiful I get goosebumps everytime I listen to this 😍😍😍
Recently just started listening to opera and this is easily my favorite aria so far. I've listened to it so many times and still can't describe the emotions it makes me feel, simply amazing.
I’m not really one for operatic music but this song gets me every time. Pavarotti is absolutely spectacular. The closest current voice that I have heard that comes even close is Alfie Boe. Maggie, have you ever heard of the group Il Divo? I really think you would enjoy them!
I think she would too. She has not reacted to them as yet. Nor the full three tenor's group Pavarotti toured with. If you want to see more live reactions with Maggie and her beautiful singing join us today 11/20 at 6PM eastern on twitch • www.twitch.tv/MaggieReneeMusic

He wasn't a century tenor, he was a millennium tenor
Wow Maggie, thank you for your comments ! Amazing.

Pavarotti's voice coach was a good family friend. Sadly they are both gone now.
One of the wonderful things about opera, you do not have to understand the language to enjoy the songs or appreciate the emotions that they convey. Check out Pavarotti singing Vesti La Giubba from the opera, Pagliacci. There's a UA-cam video clip of his live performance.
He is also my favourite
Pavarottii didn't know how to use his Diaphragm until he met Dame Joan Sutherland in 1967. He had already been performing for around 6 years & was very young. She heard him sing & asked him what he did. She realised that he wasn't using his Diaphragm & taught him how to use it. He always credited Dame Joan as being his biggest inspiration. He also gave her credit for his entire career after that. He was one of the 1st Non Australian Opera Singers to perform at the Sydney Opera House, when they performed Turandot in November, 1973, with Dame Joan & Pavarotti Leading the Cast. On his death, Dame Joan said the World had lost it's greatest singer.
Nice to hear actual analysis of this brilliance
He’s my favorite too! ⭐️
Maggie thanks for finally getting to a Pavarotti reaction. Very enjoyable.

Maggie, just thought you would like to know, our friends from Home Free, Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist cover this song. Two country singers try to perform opera. I would love to see you react to to them singing Nessun dorma.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Can't wait to see you on my livestream tonight? 🤗💖
one of my favorite arias ever. His frontal mask is amazing! Thank you for your comments and review! I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm in appreciating 'music' as I do.
This was my first visit to your channel months ago and still one of my favorite reactions of yours after seeing more than a dozen. Wish there had been more music for baritones or I would have kept singing. I give you a brava, bella.
Grazie 😜🙏
Reneé you are reacting to one of the most importants singer of all times. He sang operas, arias and popular music, also he was a very simple and charitable man. God Bless You don Luciando, RIP.
I have seen the whole performance on tv. It was late and all neighbours slept, I had my headphones on and was in musical heaven. To be sure nobody heard me crying I had 2 towels to hide all sounds.
I saw him in Tosca in Miami - simply beautiful
listened to him live back in the 80's
Thank you for your lovely comment. Can't wait to see you tonight on our live stream! 😘
Great reaction and analisys! I do really enjoy your content :) And great italian pronunciation :) Pavarotti e basta 😛
Thank you!! 🤗
R.I.P., Maestro Pav....we miss hearing your beautiful voice........
.Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma was at Dodger Stadium with 75,000 people the night before World Cup Soccer Finals in 1994. Hollywood built a multi million dollar set against the wall in center field and the stadium was full and they filled the entire grassy field with chairs...the front rows was the royalty of the world.. I was there and Placido and Jose Carrera made up the 3 Tenors...
Il Maestro signore Pavarotti, a voice out of this world
I've watched several "reactions" to this video and have seen many brought to tears, after being bombarded and stunned by the pure emotion he conveys here. But one thing I have noticed is that hardly any reviewers even mention that incredibly stunning and beautiful chior backing him up! Although I'm sure they sounded much more prominent live. SUBSCRIBED!!
My absolute favorite also!!! His passion is felt too.

Pavarotti was sent to us from Heaven! I never get tired of listening to him sing!!!
I loved how he held his performance focus all the way through the end of the music, despite being done singing.
It’s been a while since I stopped by. I’m a big fan of Pavarotti. 😊
Love your analogy of this man.. you share the passion this music needs and provides.. it is so powerful he is exhausted ..with passion.. at the end
luciano italian pride, a kiss from italy
Seen him once in Minneapolis, soooo good ❤
He IS just so good
