Soul train Uk 🇬🇧 Wandsworth Studios...it was filmed on a Sunday morning! I was a dancer 💃🏾...wonderful memories 🌟Thank you for this post ...I am a big fan of Loose Ends💫♥️🙏🏾💋
I can still remember reading a review of this..."The first thing you think of is 'Shalamar' but the more you listen, the more you hear it has it's own identity....". My favourite band @-the-time too !
SirVentofLord RIGHT!!!! It just does something to my SOUL EVERYTIME!!! In today's music you just not gonna get the same!! The 80s was just BOMB!!!! Glad I was apart of it! 😍🎧🎼🎶
Loose Ends are the first band I think of when I talk with friends about the 6.20 Soul Train UK. Though my music taste varied in '85, I bought Loose Ends singles & they were the top British RnB group .👍🏾
THE ICONIC ALBUM "ZAGORA" THAT'S MY SHITTTTTTT THEN AND STILL TODAY!!!!!! WHEN I WAS YOUNGER ON THE DANCE FLOOR, SLOW DOWN, HANGING ON A STRING AND NIGHTS OF PLEASURE!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T FORGET ABOUT YOU CAN'T STOP THE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!
They are clean! I love the originality and jazz of their outfits! Jane is pretty and the men are fine! Plus, all three are mega-talented-one of my top-ten favorite groups. Thanks, Roger.
Great British R&B Funk Band.... Shame Money went to their Heads! Heard a Fabulous Track by them on the Radio last Night....Loves Got Me, The David Morales 12 inch ....So Amazing, took me back to 1990 & I got a bit Emotional... Nobody makes Great Music like This Now

Wow what a band they were. Equally as good as 52nd St. And seeing this clip from soul train, I might have this on VHS! And if correct, Jeff Daniels other two from Shalaar were, Jodie Watley & Howard Hewitt.
Thanks for posting this mate! They are not far from where I was born in UK. This will never EVER get old to me! Day one fan since my teen years and it brings back alot of memories from the 80's!!

@@RTDavis0503 I can see why and I am a woman plus she was gorgeous she had some pretty eyes she was really stylish plenty of American girls probably bit her look and the guys were well dressed and fine too.
I wasn’t near many girls to show off to or heaven forbid, go out with (Aggie student), apart from the occasional blurry disco in the country, but somehow this stirs up strong nostalgia, as though I did have a crush: perhaps it was on Loose Ends.
This is when we stayed in the club in Frankfurt, Germany and killed it! We danced, we dressed to the tee and black people were proud of who they were. It was really something to see how sophisticated and formally dressed we were! Now you only see that in Atlanta or Europe! Brothers walk around with their pants hanging off their ass. What would Martin Luther say?
Been looking for this!!! I waz there. wearing my older sister's gear.. lol. Just started at London College of Fashion... Check out my Hat and Gear, still hot even today. lol
fun fact: The Loose Ends became the 1st British Group to hit No.1 on Billboards Hot Black Singles Charts (as it was called back then) with this song.
Man this song still hits hard, miss these old songs...
It's a timeless,smooth FUNK jam
Michael K I miss old-school groups.

This sound is so perfect. From the groove lines to the vocals, this song is every true producer’s dream to create. Even to this day.

Nice find...never knew there was a '620' version of Soul Train.
..."620" was the UK version of the US original back in the '80s. It aired at (you guessed it) 6:20 PM on Thursdays (IIRC).

Loose ends or Soul II Soul? Go!
Soulja Boy's 9mm Hi Point Soul II Soul has some great music, but my vote goes to Loose Ends. I enjoy their music more, especially the uptempo songs.
Loose Ends: The best birthed in the '80s.
