Aloha, this was worth waiting for 🙌 I love how it gives off a feel of "The Daleks" and "Day of the Daleks" in the shimmer on the Dalek casing and metal realism of the room their. And the war damaged casing reflects. A superb piece of work. Thank you for all the detail and work it took going into this.
Thank you! That was something I wanted to get in to show that the Dalek did perhaps have 'sad emotions', so to speak about being ordered to kill the only human it respected.
Great animation, the set looks great and so do the daleks, I loved the movement you gave to the supreme, very reminiscent of the 60’s, great attention to detail and some great texturing on the survivor, top notch stuff!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it! I was very happy with how the Supreme's animation turned out. It was annoying trying to animate the eyestalk, but that was something I was determined to get in. As for the overall design of the Daleks, I went with the modified 60s design that was seen on the cover of 'Jubilee', so that was a good starting point for the animation. And the texturing I was very pleased with. I did a lot of experimenting with the Dalek captive in particular, to get it to look broken and damaged and I think that came out well. ☺️👍🏻

While you do have some really good shots, I have been spoilt by the cinematography done by other fans who have animated this scene in better ways but your design aesthetics and lighting are by far the best of out them, it's sooo beautiful! Like this feels like it could exist in Classic Who or NuWho and I don't get how you managed to capture that! Your Daleks also look gorgeous and the set itself is brilliant! Love the vortex image on the screen, nice visual touch and especially love the damaged Dalek's earlights, thats a very unique type of damage that could have been good visual iconography for that Dalek, should this of been a non-audio story. Honestly this version of the scene feels the most true to "Doctor Who" so you clearly understand how to visualise Big Finish stories in a way that feels more connected to the TV show which is a talent I hope is noticed by Big Finish one day! ;D

what do you use ?
I used Blender for it. Specifically version 2.92.
Cool except you keep crossing the 180 line which is confusing/distracting
I did that deliberately. I wanted to experiment with some of the camera angles in the scene.
