Sky Striker Goes Vertical! - Great America Construction Update (May 1st, 2024)

Here is the update with the ride construction coming to an end and the ride nearly complete in Gurnee, IL.
This will be a new 172 foot swing Zamperla Giga Discovery ride coming in 2024.

Seems kinda small next to what I was expecting

I thought the same thing. I figured to top where the pendulum connects would be as nearly as high as the Eagle hill (which I believe is like 127 feet). Maybe it is the angle that I filmed from too as some rides look lower based on where you are viewing them from outside of the park.

@@robstravelsadventures true. It is 178 when upside down but just seemed a little small and the angle probably affected it too
