With our winters being basically mild especially this past winter you're telling me after fright fest they just decided to do everything until what mar or April? When someone buys a ticket you're selling an experience not a huge coming soon extravaganza
The park should release concept art for the front gate. To rip it up and not say why and give people something to look forward to is bad show. Unfinished/not quite right is all of their projects lately. All of mardi gras area, the sky trek tower/maxx force area and queue, the entryway, the plaza in front of american eagle, all of yukon territory/go carts/kids zones. Buccaneer battle. The trees ripped out of the main gate should have been moved over to county fairs trash can zone. Their placement of rides is getting clever but the design of the dry park is getting so weak compared to the water park. Really confusing. Optimistic about the front gate... the rest of it not so sure
I think everyone needs to chill out a bit as this has happened before at other theme parks and it’s better then having it all rushed. Plus maybe they got some surprises. :)
Honestly I’m just curious what are they thinking (like why were some of these projects not done by opening day) but I was told they’re multiple parks have projects not done yet for their opening weekend (that could been done during the off season)
Six Flags has an annoying habit of having their newest rides ready be Memorial Day Weekend at the earliest. Cedar Fair, however, likes to have their latest attractions ready by the beginning of the season. Now that the two companies are merging together and Cedar Fair will have majority control overall, do you think we can expect all Six Flags parks to start having new additions ready by the time a new season begins?
I really hope so, it would be cool if Six Flags opened rides on time. In reality I feel like the merger is gonna make Cedar Fair rides open later lol 😂
That’s not the case for Magic Mountain they legit wait until the end of July or early August to open our new rides which bugs me because if their building during the warmer parts of the year then why does it take so long for them to get rides open
Everyone is being a bit too harsh. Having something delayed is better then rushed. Sure it’s not pretty at the moment but wait until everything is all cleaned up. Knotts Berry Farm has construction going on in the park as we speak.
Certainly nicer parks out there. Not enough shade, huge circle layout with no way to cut through. Entrance from Batman to Whizzer is less than 400' but because of the park layout you have to walk 2,200 feet.
As a first time goer to 6 flags. It's ugly. I Think the park says state fair but the next tier. Food prices are higher than Disney and Universal Studios. The quality is not there.
The winter was so mild this year in IL, not sure why the park didn’t take advantage of it and finish these projects before opening.
My thoughts exactly
The park should have gotten all that work done. Great video! I Love your content ❤
Management is getting VERY lazy.

5:11 I feel like that’s gonna be a shop for American eagle or sky striker exit like xflight one or max force
Definitely selling Sky Striker merch

Shipping delays and weather can play a part.
Bad management at Great America. Poor planning. Could Great America become the next Riverview?
This comment is a bit silly. Great America is not going to meet the fate of Rivervirw.
California though…yeah
I'm not surprised. The only park that seems to matter if SFMM.

I was reading that the ride only recently came in (last couple of weeks), but normally I'm quick to jump on them.

Im nust gonna wait until 2025

This park just looks ugly I’m glad great adventure has a better layout
It’s not that bad. Better then La Ronde
