Notably, Elena's resiliency is directly connected with her inteligence and strict disciplinary manner..In addition, her temperament and concentration helps increase the probability of winning the match..She have developed a manner of thinking, behaving and reacting that helps her ability to control the direction and attention of her thoughts and focus on the primary task at hand..The combination of her mental and emotional components increases her competitive readiness in a supreme level.I have'nt seen any player of this magnitude..I think we are now witnessing the making of a supreme dominant player of our era. She is setting a high standard of sportmanship and conduct befitting competitor who reacted to victory and defeat graciously..An enjoyable and pleasurable atmosphere are always present whenever she's on and off the court..A role model player of our time..So, we have a lot to be excited about Elena's rise to the rank in the tennis wta..Thank you and congratulations on a well derserved victory and you may find the clear path for tennis paramountcy...INSPIRING!!

Elena Rybakina simply outpowered Elise Mertens ... as expected. To be honest - Rybakina is better in almost every aspect, at least on hard court. Better serve, harder ground strokes. Maybe not at the net, but the point is mostly over if it comes to that. Rybakina needn't to play her best tennis today to win. The last two matches were trickier. Finally she managed to get through in two sets. For her target (must be winning the title) this is good news.

If anyone that can stop her at the moment is Krejcikova because of her variety and ability to read the game well. No one else has a chance. If Krejcikova crashes out against Sabalenka today then I'll have no doubt that Rybakina will get the Sunshine doubles.

Krejcikova, Sabalenka, Pegula, Rybakina. They all have chances against each other.

@@LobsterFromMars I don't think so, she's going to dominate Sabalenka now on. She broke the shackles in IW. Their matches were always close encounters with Ryba losing them all but now she's beaten Sabalenka in straight sets and got the monkey off her back. Ryba used to choke in crucial points but so far this tournament she has shown she can handle the pressure. The mindset has changed.

      @@edgarmacabasa6682 Correct. 3,720 plus 2000 for Wimbledon = 5,720.
She might have a few hundred more points for having qualified and played in Guadalajara last year. She could be at 6,000.
