This is going to be a great, updated way of doing what I have done in the past! If you save the sheet as a favorite, does it automatically update as new books are checked out or do you have to redownload?
Such a great explanation video. I was unsure how to get started. The video was so easy I created the form and everything as you did it in the video. Thanks
i would want to create a google form for people can have access to library books and also borrow a book using the form. how to do that especially how to i insert the list of books at the library into the google forms
Thanks! I am going to also create one for checking out class texts. Is there a way to set up the form so that each class period has a sheet within the larger sheet? So, across the bottom of the spreadsheet there is a tab for period 1, period 2 etc. Or can I format it that way after the data is in the spreadsheet? Thanks!
Wish there was a way for the student to log back in and check it the title back in AND a way to display what is checked out on the main page so students can see what is unavailable, who checked it out and when on the main page.

Super cool. I would have never thought I could use Google Forms/ Sheets for my classroom library.
This is a game changer for me. Thank you for showing us how you set things up!
This was insanely helpful, thanks!

Happy to hear! Thanks, Tammy. :)
Love this! Would you be willing to share a copy of your form?

Check out the Google Sheets extension Tabify -- might be what you're looking for!
How do we format the agreement option?
I love how your classroom student names are Game of Throses characters.
Is there a template for this sheet so we don't have to create it?

Look at Library Thing - it can do that
You should just try a class room library catalogue like TinyCat by LibraryThing... much less work
What about Biblio 8.26?
@@FMFT I've never tried it
