I been doing stained glass for 20 yrs,,,, worked in a studio for 4 of them and never once heard of this technique,,,, thank you for this tutorial!!! You did a great job showing the process.
You are such an inspiration! I watch all your tutorials over and over again, and have just completed my first six sided lamp. Thank you so much for your generosity in providing them.
I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Phillip Derek thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This tutorial is really helpful! Thank you! :D I've just graduated as a glass painter and stained glass artist, but we skipped the 3D Tiffany technique, rather worked with lead came, to make windows. I received an order a week ago, to make some lampshades, so I panicked! :) But you saved me with this video! :D Thank you again!
I absolutely love to watch you work. You are so precise and practiced. Your love of craft and dedication are obvious. Thank you so much for sharing these videos. Keep up the good work!
At everything I had to come alone. How I would be glad if you and your tutorial knew before. Your videos are fantastic. Thank you very much for the demonstration of your work and I am convinced that it is the best video for teaching construction stained glass.
This was the most brilliant UA-cam video that I've ever seen. I loved watching the artist at work. What a craftsman! And yet, video actually makes me feel LESS confident about my ability to do what he did -- the labor and attention to detail are just astounding. Good luck to those who try to replicate his method!
This is fantastic! Very well explained and make it look easy to make (I know it is not)...I want to try this sooo bad! I love stained glass lamps! Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Very well made instructional video. One of the best I've seen even compared to some made by companies to show how to use their products. A lovely example of a stained glass lampshade as well. You have encouraged me to try something similar with different shades of mica sheet. Thanks mate!
You are most welcome Bill... :-) Hey, maybe (if you do face book) you'd like to join our stained glass enthusiasts group?... search FB for Karal studio stained glass.
Actually I will look for it. Thanks for the invite. Ive always loved stained glass but never gave much thought to making it. Now that I am home more often I want a hobby to supplement my painting.
This is a really interesting technique. I'll be sure to ask my boss who has decades of experience if he's used this method before. I love seeing how others build different items out of glass.

Holy cow, I have never seen a big ass soldier bar like that. 41 and still learning something new every day. If you don't, you're not paying attention to life. 🤔😎😋
I get them from a mill. This format of bar is used by plumbers / roofers who are sealing up sheet iron etc.
I like them cos they are fat, once they have some heat in there, it melts nicely too, easy to use as delivery of solder to the bead is fast fast fast!....
Nice tutorial, I Learned some technique.
