Everyone was disappointed that they didn’t include Bebop and Rocksteady in the TMNT movie sequel but they did Tokka and Rahzar so great it can easily be forgiven.
Honestly not me and I even grew up on the original cartoon show. I fully understand why they didn't use them. One it be hard to get a rino on set as well explain how they stole one in the first place plus I like the wolf and stamping turtle look to be honest.

@@Dro-Tello ha no. That's not right at all. It's been well established for years that both Eastman and Laird didn't like bebop and Rocksteady. They (especially Laird) didn't like how kiddy the cartoon became.

Despite being a wolf guy, Tokka was always my favorite of these two. His overall design is just incredible. Vicious, yet not without a child-like vulnerability.

Amazing looking figures, probably my favourite Figurines From the Neca TMNT movie line. They did an amazing job on these.
These are fantastic figures, some of NECAs best work in my opinion. Glad to have them after a 20+ year wait.
Awesome review. I received these last week and didn't realize how massive they are. Definitely worth the price. Hopefully NECA does a preorder for the other 2020 toon turtles that were MIA at Target.

I got my set last month and I totally love them. They look so cool displayed with the rest of the Neca movie turtles. I can say glady that I didn't have any issues with my figures. All of their joints were put together correctly and all moved with ease. Neca continues to amaze!

Good to have you back Dan. I did not care much bout this movie, though my daughter has been watching it a ton lately and I appreciate it more. These figures are the coolest action figures I've ever seen in my life. I don't know how you could make a better toy.

Love those 2! They were a fun boss fight in Turtles in Time.
Now im gonna be watching for custom movie versions of Slash getting made. That's gonna be interesting to see
You could of also Compared them with the Mutatin Tokka and Mutatin Rahzar 1993 figures too. This year is the 30th Anniversary of Ninja Turtles 2 Secret Of The Ooze Movie of Tokka and Rahzar. I love the Mutatin Figures.
I always associate the Playmates versions with their animated series appearance where they were intelligent and had the same color scheme. I love these new ones though and it’s been hard to put them them since they arrived last year! Excellent review!
Just received mines today. Had to buy from ebay since I missed the original preorder window. A shame I shelled out $170 usd but oh boy are these guys amazing!

Well I'm going to watch the secret of the ooze after this review. So awesome these are in action figure form.
Nowadays this items are run by a toy mafia. We can't get this figs in the wild.
So glad I caught the re-preorder earlier this year. That markup on ebay is no joke. They look stellar and sooo realistic. I don't love the love action figires so these boys are going next to my Kong and Ceasar
Really glad you addressed the issue with Tokka's elbow. Mine is the same way! Other than that, I love these figures.
My Tokka’s right lower left leg popped off, but the peg connecting the upper knee hinge wasn’t broken. I just had to heat up the female end and the peg fit in easily. You’ll need to do the same w his left arm. After heating you should be able to push the peg in flush.
I wonder if there's gonna be "SOTO" versions of the turtles or will they look too similar to the first movie ones? I mean the Turtles in Time figures look the same as the original arcade turtles that came out in 2016 so there's a good chance the SOTO turtles are coming too.
WOW :) they look So Awesome and I also like the donuts and fire extinguisher that comes along :) Really looking forward o the Ninja Turtles from the same secret of the ooze movie and I hope they will be next :)

I have that same issue on my Tokka figure. Also his eyebrows don't move. Haven't tried applying heat yet. But overall they're a great set of figures.
Got these just before Christmas, probably the best early present Santa got me.
Great looking figures of the movie characters. I'm so bummed out and annoyed with NECA's endlessly bad QC however. The amount of figures I've had to return over the years is crazy. I thought their quality was improving recently...but apparently not. Their factories need to sort it out, people are paying big money for these figures only to be disappointed with breakage, messed up paint and/or badly constructed joints, as in this case.
neca needs to figure it out, whatever the company ships is necas responsibility to check
They probably saw that most people were keeping them in boxes so why have QC when people don't even open them!? (I personally open everything right away and never had an issue with any NECA figure)
@@D0CBEE "Most people"? I dunno about that. I think it's so crappy when people keep things in boxes. The box is just the packaging, not the actual product. If you buy a bar of chocolate, do you keep that in its wrapping too? Madness.

I would never ever EVER unbox a single one of my collectibles. i dont buy these things to play with them, i buy them so i can enjoy looking at them and admire them, because that's what you do with art. but you do you son, i wont judge you for playing with your little toys and dolls. i can hear you in your room right now going "pew pew pew! pow! psh!! pow! bang! ohhhhhhhh urgggggg! that hurt! take this! ahhhhh!" lmao have fun kiddo. seriously not judging tho lol 🤓

Got my Tokka and Rahzar in this week. Haven't open it yet... but i want too. Awsome review! Sorry to hear about Tokka's arm. Maybe you could try using a hair dryer to heat up the joint to pop it in place.
Rewatching this now that I pre-ordered the reissues. Now it's about playing the waiting game until they ship.

These are the reason why I started my tmnt collection 3 months ago.
Got my set just last week and I haven't been able to put them down. They really are some of the most incredible figures NECA's done, just in general. I love how they turned out. I hope you were able to pop the arm back in on your Tokka, that certainly stinks. Didn't run into anything like that on my set. Incredible figures, though. Worth the wait. I hope they do another run for people that missed out in the future.

I honestly wasn't prepared for how huge these guys are. I've watched several UA-cam reviews and they just don't do these guys justice.

Sadly the ONLY place you're going to "find" these is eBay. They were made to order on the NECA website, and are continuing to ship now. No other way to get them other than the secondary market.
hey pixel , i was wondering if your rahzar shoulder tassle piece ever came loose? i notice my rahzar fell over in my detolf and that piece fell off the shoulder pad... anybody else in the comments down here have that problem?
Did you manage to fix Tokka's arm in the end?
My Tokka had the same issue with the same elbow, but i did push it in and looked better but it did not go all the way in
If these toys came with the fire extinguisher and doughnut they should have at least included the baby version of the snap turtle and Wolf so you have the transition from beast to animal.
So, so glad I got these.

I had the same thing happen to me so heat it up from a far but until it’s soft enough to pop out then heat up the hole then plug in the place under cold water or let it cool down on it’s own

I got mine in last week.
Been loving them. Careful with Tokka's spikes not just the sharpness but right out the package mine had the paint on them flaking off the 3 down the center.
As for the arm mine came like that too, I used a hair dryer to warm it up and I was able to push it back in.
So sadly some QC problems but despite that they are hard to put down.

I received mine yesterday and my tokka is missing one of his eyebrows I'm so disappointed and mad. I hope neca can do something about it, iv spent SO much money on there toys over the years and this is not good enough.
Great review😀I preordered the Motu collectors book from Amazon ant it showed a April 27th release but message said ordered recieved and then I will recieve a official release date which is weird. I hope we get it early.

I Kinda Like The Tutles In Time Tokka Better I Like How Tokkas Skin Is A Gray'Ish Blue Makes Him More Unique Then He Already Is.

When the 2007 came out, i got a donnie with a realy stiff arm. And ot broke when i tried to move it up. I was so sad bc we weren't a family of money so i had to wait for my birthday but the line was all gone by then.
I loved this set until I realized my Rahzar had two left arms, and NECA told me "tough, no replacements".

Awesome figures. Since Neca is making figures from Turtles 2 Secret of the Ooze starting with Super Shredder and then Tokka and Rahzar, do you think they'll make the Turtles as well? The Turtles from the 2nd movie are a lot different from the Turtles from the 1st movie.

These were the ones I wanted the most. But when neca put these up for pre-order, I had no money. When my paycheck finally came in, it was too late. And now I will never have these 8( maybe neca will do another run
Same here. I was bummed that the preorder window was only a week. Had it been a month, that would’ve been better for both collectors as well as Neca. Luckily I don’t consider these two to be essential for my collection as I focus on the first movie but still, would’ve loved them.
