Not visiting a graveside has no indication of how much one cares and loves the deceased. You are so right that he is with Jesus and not there in the ground. So thankful we have the promise of reunion through our Saviour Jesus!!
You are doing a great job of organizing and decluttering!!! Bravo!!

My Mamie use to always tell me not to come visit her grave because she wouldn’t be there, and the only time I was ever there was for her funeral. Your son was a precious soul, his piano playing really blessed my heart, looking forward to meeting him when Jesus comes! Great job on getting so much accomplished, looks so pretty! I love your tea cabinet! Blessings

Thank you so much! Yes my son never said that but I knew he felt that way. It told everyone not to wear black to mourn him because he will be in his happiest place. Sad for us on earth but amazing still the same!

I crochet. And I was hoarding yarn like crazy. I have donated a ton of yarn and I still have a ton. I'll be moving in a few weeks . So I need to get rid of more yarn. It's hard. Your right with knowing the price of yarn you think what you can make with it. Lol we all think alike

Wow, you got rid of a lot!! Maybe there's something in the air because I've also been focusing on decluttering and minimizing things recently. It's just so hard to keep up with real life stuff when I spend so much time managing all the material things. I'm ready for simplicity! 💕💕💕

Aww hugs! The emotional stuff in life can be so hard. My son sittinwithhope on youtube would rather me not fret about him knowing that he was with the Lord. Even though I don't know what that looks like there is so much comfort in knowing that. Im so sorry to hear about your momma. hugs and prayers.

I had quite the quilting fabric and sewing stash. After moving into this house (final move for me) my daughter and I went through all of that. We gave about 10 large totes to a church and about 3 specific color fabric totes to a quilting group that makes veteran quilts. Also took about 6 large totes of card making materials and tools to the local school district office. Teachers were waiting for my arrival and immediately started claiming the things for their classrooms. I kept four totes of specific fabrics for quilt projects that I anticipate that I can finish in my lifetime. My daughter has about 3. You can't take it with you and I rather give it to those who cannot afford to purchase it and yet they still need the items. Still need to unclutter other things but will wait for the spring as the cold really affects my ability to move around.
