The thing with Ki-Adi's age in canon is that he is already an old man when Dooku was younger in Filoni's Tales of the Jedi, which doesn't make sense with his original birth date since he was younger than Dooku, so if anything Acolyte fixes Filoni's mistake by making it plausible lol.
The whole "s-canon" thing i always found it rather arbitrary, particularly on the Marvel comics, like, there are no contradictions in those works that make them incompatible with post-1991 works, there are some small inconsistencies here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary if we compare it to the 90's, with that logic 1991-1999 stories would be "s-canon" as well, i see no reason why the comics would HAVE to be referenced to conclude they are part of the continuity. S-canon makes sense when classifying the video games and RPGs, having it be for "older stories" is arbitrary and contradictory.
