- How to test and install a OEM gas tank diaphragm petcock, This petcock is on a Harley Davidson Sportsters. This will work on must Vacuum petcock motorcycle. This will bring back your motorcycle to like new running condition. Any questions just ask. Ride safe and have a great day.
Tools Needed
5/16 open end tank ground hdwe.
1/2 socket for tank.

The stock petcock was one of the first things I got rid of on my Sporty when she was new. She turns 20 on June 1st next week, I put a Pingel on there not long after bringing home the bike in 2004. Love your channel Rocco … and love that corvette as well! 👍🏻

I have a 2009 vtx I installed
A permanent A/F Adjuster.
Seems to run best with three complete turns of the
A/F except if I'm in second
And open up the throlle
It bogs down for a second or so and then picks up fine.
Any suggestions 🤔

Happy to help find a happy medium between those two numbers anything over three turns out your Idle judge too low. I just subscribed to your videos. I have a 2006 sportster xlc 1200 custom. My friend changed my petcock and eliminated the vacuum with a different petcock and never plugged the vacuum on the carb. I'm having problems with it cutting out when I accelerate at higher speeds. And gas/oil comes out the two breather holes on the engine on both sides of carb. There was no fuel filter in the tank. I'm putting my original carb back on. Why is gas and oil shooting out my breather holes and what is voes? Do you have a video about my fuel vacuum and how it goes?
Happy to help, Sounds like you tried Carburator. And that did not work out, go back to the original Carburator. I'll send you a video on how to clean the idle jet on that carburetor. as for the oil coming out of the motor. How long has that bike been sitting? Oil will gravitate to your dry sump V-twin motor. Put the carburetor back on plug up the vacuum line by your Petcock and tank screen.. The Voes valve is for when you are accelerating. advancing the timing to adjust for the motors needs. Any questions just ask. Let us know how it works out, when you put the new carburetor on. plug up the vacuum and start it, you have to get this motor run to get the oil out of the bottom of the motor.Th is called. Hey Rocco I put the original carb back on. Plugged the vacuum started her up and same problemo. Pressurized gas/ oil mixture coming ot those breather holes. There is gas in my oil tank I can smell it and it's thinner. Bike sounds great when it runs.
There's only one place Gas can come from and that's from your gas tank. I would change the oil ,You said you replaced that Petcock so the only other place would be the float needle jet.
