With our current writing program this is exactly what I've been having to supplement on my own. I heard so many mixed reviews about the MCT writing program, but with your walk-through here, it makes so much sense! We went really slowly through grammar and are on the practice and vocabulary portion currently, as my daughter is advanced in language arts but is only in second grade. We supplement with Beowulf's Grammar, which she is in love with. I think I'm going to add this in when we finish up the vocabulary portion. Thank you so much for the detailed review!

I did the first two levels myself and then one child did a Magic Lens online class and another child did Caesar's English online. But your observation is spot on because all my boys did the first two levels and then we did piecemeal stuff here and there.
@@HomeschoolKnockouts thank you. That’s makes sense. Do you think a 3rd/4th child could do just Grammar Island & Grammar Town while using East Grammar for sentence diagramming and Writing & Rhetoric for writing? I guess I’m not sure how you combined all three of these curricula.
