Thank you so much for the vedio dear. You rock! I have even not seen the whole vedio yet but just by seeing that you did follow through on your comment means so much and shows the kind of person you are. Really thank you so much

My pleasure 😊 I was so happy to drop the video because you had asked a very great question about the curriculum program overall.

Again thanks so much dear. You have a wealth of knowledge and I think we all can agree that you are doing a service to all. I am connecting to you from Sweden here. We originally come from India and have been living in Sweden from the last 8 years. We donot have a lot of International schools here. Probably 1 in a whole district and sometimes 1 in 3 or 4. So no options of changing schools either if you are not satisfied with the school or the way they teach. No option of homeschooling either as it is illegal. So all kids must go to school to get their education. So we supplement a lot at home after school. That is where your curriculum reviews and flipthroughs are like godsend to us. I religiously sit through them, make notes, and follow through so I can make informed decisions for my daughter. We also struggle through not having enough time at hand as after a whole day of school, she can barely focus for an hour or two. But we are trying to do our best. As most curriculums are only available in US and shipping charges from US to Sweden are sky high, it makes so much easier and helpful if we can see inside the books in a better way before commitimg into the curriculum and having it shipped here.

Thank you for sharing all your videos! I look forward to them! I was wondering if there are any books in this Writing and Rhetoric series that you have skipped over. I have a 6th grader, and we did books 1 and 3 already, which were easy for her. Do you suggest we continue with book 4 or jump to book 5? Thank you! 😊

You're mighty welcome, Niki! Love the name btw, ;) We skipped book 4. I will be doing a flip through of it. Might do it next week since you asked about it. I'll explain my reasons for skipping that book in the flip through.

@@HomeschoolKnockouts I would also love a video on why you skipped the 4th Writing and Rhetoric! I have watched ALL your videos on it. You’re awesome and a wealth of information, thank you!!

Oh, I didn't know it had art in it!!! That is wonderful!
I have wanted to ask you. Do you think it is necessary to add a formal Literature Studies curriculum if you use Writing and Rhetoric?

"Oh, I didn't know it had art in it!!!" That's the comment I love to hear and precisely why I'm doing these flip throughs. 🎉🎉 As far as a formal LS curriculum, W&R exposes you to a variety of literary works but they are short works only. I would have a stand-alone literary "curriculum", whether formal or informal, that includes books your child is interested in, different genres, time periods, length, etc. Lightning Literature is a fantastic lit program. Build Your Library is another one. You don't have to buy anything, Just look at their book selections to get a feel for things. HTH!

Where kids write the paragraphs...I'm assuming that a writing curriculum is about how to learn different types of essays, etc. My writing search is a battle I'm about to loose.
Btw, love your attitude that's why I stop and watch.

Keep up the good fight, my dear! I fought so many battles. I understand. There is ample space to write the paragraphs. The lined paper is in the writing section toward the end. Usually 1 or 2 pages of lined paper. Thanks for the compliments!
