I dont agree with completely dropping it because some people ARE 40 year old dads playing like 4 games after work, but loosening it for hardcore daily players is a must!
I think I understand why cod has and is so reliant on eomm now, it’s no longer an arcade shooter, all this movement and meta setups that balance range and fire rate and all this stuff, cod became a game for players that wanted to compete/ pros / sweats, there is no longer space for casual players, if cods movement was truly old school it’d be a lot slower, no Omni movements, no sliding, no tac sprint, no jump boost, I think that’s why I liked mw2019, cause the game was still somewhat slow, still campers and people that abused the fact that you had to come to make. Cod is now the tryhard fest that it is because of the player base, we complained about arcade features (perks, attachments and just mechanics that are unbalanced not bc it’s broken but because fun video game, commando pro, one man army, last stand, jug, deployable shields, good thermal sites, map design that rewards holding down a certain location, camping) we wanted everyone to rush and now they developed eomm so everyone has to, in a way these cod games have been exactly what we asked and now we’ve never seen the things that make the arcade shooter an arcade shooter.
The fact we continue to do this yearly is wild, its been a joke cold war. Miss blackout that mode in itself was a gem in the rough. Nothing will have that original feeling of grapple hooking a tree and flying like a squirrel throughout the map 😂

I had the armor sign pop up in multi player the other night while in a strange lobby. Some players where moving around in fast forward and hit markers not showing up.
I just wish operator and gun skins weren't so gawd darn awful. But I know that's a slim chance since its a series stable now due to gun camo challenges for bragging rites and the MT store.
I would be so low on the chances. I have a family member that works on call of duty and they said that they love and use your content to help with bugs and other things
At this point, I pray for modders to get Warzone 1 at the Modern Warfare Season 6 state up and running again. Project Donetsk made good progress, but ended up dying before it could get going.
I’m a huge fan of cod. I didn’t play mw19 or the other new mw games much, but I master prestiged in bo6 and got dark matter (first time since bo2 lol) and honestly I think it’s time for CoD to die. Looking back on the games we had, every game that wasn’t mw-bo2 and then bo3 was kinda meh. Some weren’t bad but they didn’t have the same feeling as those “core games”. And if you compare them all you’ll realize it’s bc of what’s in the games, meaningful campaigns with characters you love and follow across multiple games, multiplayer having prestige hidden calling cars and gun camos to unlock that nobody had seen, and then zombies having an incredible story with awesome Easter eggs. None of the “new” cods have that except mw19 and bo6. And both still don’t compare to the core games bc of the insane amount of corporate control and micro transactions. With each new cod the closer we get to looking like braverant, valorant with no supers or anticheat, and it’s not fun.
I don’t think Warzone will ever be separate, if you are an OG Call of Duty player, you 9 times out of 10 going to go to the newest game once it’s released, this is what Warzone does, it stays relevant to the current Call of Duty so it’s always a fresh take of whatever is going on in the Main title. That depends on how you perceive Warzone and its purpose. To me, Warzone is the Free to Play 'entry' point into CoD. It's almost designed to sell the 'Premium' annual release - hence it has to integrate every year with that years 'new' setting and features, hence it integrates with the CoD Battle Pass and get extra XP gains when you own the Premium CoD. Unlike Apex, Fortnite, Valorant etc, they also have a 'premium' priced game to release alongside they want to SELL! They probably don't want to lose sales of CoD to their own Free to Play offering - at least if they do, they can still sell them Battle Passes, Cosmetics and CoD points... Warzone is Free to Play! It seems its purpose to get people into CoD and then sell them the latest game, battle passes, Bundles etc and hence changes with each new 'Premium' release to 'sell' that game - its so heavily tied to the 'Premium' game - setting, time period etc...
Must be on that famous "content creators white list" meaning cheats/hacks. Love espresso and his positive and "open" thoughts. Yet. Just hate watching his videos of wall tracking, instantly knowing where the bad guy is when he looks out a window ect. But as I said. He is probably one of those "white listed" people.

Not gunna lie im missing groundwar mode, that was a fun mode to do camo challenges on ect also just fun! MW 2k19 nailed it, leading onto verdansk nailed it again, CoD devs need to look at what really works in terms of modes and map design. Its a shame

Been playing cod ghosts, advanced warfare, waw and bo2 multiplayer lately and omg it’s just such a better feeling it’s very hard to explain. Just go back and play them if you can, just hits different.
i'm gonna be honest just separating Warzone from the multiplayer isn't going to fix the problem like genuinely the multiplayer was dying pre-Warzone. so asking them to remove the thing that's keeping multiplayer a float doesn't seem smart to me in general it's the way call of duty is run today that's the major issue. and until that's addressed the game is just going to flat out see decline across the board. that's what death of a franchise looks like for those still loss as to what's currently the problem and what's going to fix it.
Please make Warzone a STAND ALONE GAME that is the only solution going forward - No one ever complained about the BASE game from MW 2019 - Vanguard , thank you for using your voice
Three studio thing doesn’t seem to work, if it takes them a year to fix problems across all modes then it’s pretty easy to just give it to the most successful one. MW3 especially the latter half was more fun and interesting than what BO6 has going on
Crazy how Warzone Mobile is so much better. There's no smbb. I get between 7 and 16 kills every game and get plenty of wins on touchscreen only. Playing the full version is like playing with crackheads where they kill you before you see them. If they made the full version more like mobile it would do very well. We don't want the super fast TTK and 97% of players thinking they're in a tournament. They gotta turn down the aim assist, stop giving these low skilled players so much assistance. It's really sad that aim assist has fkd up the game to this point. 😢

This. I only play multiplayer to practice for Warzone. I’d say 75% of my games in multiplayer my team is going for kills and not objectives.
