A good idea to freeze leafy vegetables is
To chop them before freezing in small chunks.
For it ; you can spread chopped vegetables on cookie tray evenly. Divide them in cubes by drawing a line using spatula.
Store it in box or ziplock bags once it is frozen.
Take at much as you want and throw it in the blender.
It will save your blender ‘s struggle too.
    Hope this helps 🙂

P.S. I have tried adding steamed broccoli into my green smoothie and it tasted pretty good.

I still can't get over how fantastic this Doc is. Love his ethics as well. Hope he stays on the straight and natrow and doesn't go sour like so many others such as, for instance, being bought out or whatever to compromise ethic and standard by other pharmaceutical or medical organisations.
I gotta try some of his products soon. Agree with what he said about synthetic vitamins.....

So greatful that I ran across your videos. Being diabetic, I started the keto diet last April. Lost 38lbs, fell off the wagon, doing a cheat day, did not know that it would mess the when diet up. I am back on my keto diet. Just tried the shake to cleanse my liver, I was very pleased, added blue berries and strawberries like you suggested, I watch your videos every day. Thanks for the great info, I know I am on the right track.

Wow! Within the first 30 seconds you solved a problem myself and many people have struggled with for ages. The ability to retain fresh green veggies by sticking them in the freezer to retain the veggie.. Wow!
I really hope you make a video about this. What brought me up to speed and my attempt to solve my issues was fruits. I can never eat fresh fruits. I'll buy them, but often forget to eat them and then they go bad in the fridge 😪
My doctor told me my kidneys weren't the best and I had a fatty liver. She talked about the important of fruits and dark greens. She emphasized on focusing on fruits high in antioxidants. I started paying attention to berries after she said that.
I found fresh blue, black and raspberries very expensive to eat enough and eat in time before they spoiled. What I figured out was that I could beat the spoiling and effect of time on fresh berries by buying organic big bags of frozen mixed berries.
I have been good about my berries habit for a while now. When it comes to the dark greens I have been struggling because I didn't think the application of frozen fruits like I mentioned earlier would work on greens, such as the ones you start your video with. Thank you, you're awesome 🙋🏾‍♂️

This is a great cleanse but you are right that it is hard to choke down. So, I thought I'd share what I did to make it more palatable. These 3 ingredients are perfect for a savory food not a sweet one.
After I blended them I pressed them into an ice cube tray and frozen them. 3 times a day I put a couple of cubes into a cup of hot water, add some no salt seasoning (actually, I add salt too) , and drink it like a light soup. It works great and it's no longer gag worthy.
These 3 are also easy to grow and are much less bitter when they are really fresh. Enjoy!

3:25 this is a really fantastic idea. I am definitely more of a savory person and these are definitely soup ingredients for me.. I love the idea that you make a whole big batch and you freeze portions. Why not add onion and garlic and turmeric ginger, and chili powder while you’re at it? Oh yes, maybe some mushrooms so healthy for you ! Really kick it up a notch. I do wonder how much of the vitamin potency is jeopardized putting it through a cooking process.

I buy various greens from the store. Grab about 5 handfuls of each , and throw them in a ziplock freezer bag. I also throw in a couple big cloves of garlic, a big chunk of ginger, and a piece of turmeric root. Throw the bag in the freezer. I make up seven of these bags to last the week. When I get home from work. I grab a bag, and throw it into my ninja blender with some water, and drink my salad while preparing the rest of my meal.

Kale and blueberry was really a very good advice. Atleast for me.
I have been eating it since 28th of jan. But I actually do not make a drink, like you do. I just put the kale in my freezer, then I take it out and crush it to small bits. I then put it in a bowl together with the blueberry and some kefir. And every evening I eat it just like that.
Anyway, I got lots of more energy and I feel better in my body at all. It just took a week for me to notice the change.
I have no gall bladder and also I have hypothyroidism, so it's very hard for me to know what to eat. But I cut out bread and sweets, so faar and no pigsmeat because of the penicillin they give to them.
I buy meat in the small local farms and fish from the local fishmarket.
In the morning I drink a shake from coconut milk, coconutoil, 2 eggs, berries, chia, sunflowerseeds and psyllium. I feel healthy and not stuffed.
    At 19.00 i eat kale/blueberry.
I end my days with apple cider vinegar.
Ofcourse I eat lunch too, around 12-13.00.
I don't drink Coffee at all. Just tea and carcadé.
I have followed you for 2 months and I'm slowly learning more and more. I hope!😊
Thank you for all the good and intelligent advice that you give to us all, about all kinds of health issues. And to me it all makes a lot of sense what you say.
    Thank you so very much!🥰

I had been 2 days without having a bowel movement and am waiting on Dr.Bergs bile salts, so I made this shake after IF for 22hrs, then drink 2.5 cups of the shake at 3:30 or so and by 7pm I had 2 bowel movements and the last one was like everythingggg that had been in me 😳🙌I did take 2 choline before I drink my shake as well that I just received today. Legit this is the ONLY shake that has EVER made me go to the bathroom hours later! I'm currently healing myself from Fatty Liver & Gallbladder issues as well as fixing my PH in my tummy....so I HIGHLYYY recommend making this shake if you're looking for immediate graceful constipation relief and to heal your liver ❤️ So grateful for Dr.Berg!!!!!!

Sadly, only the Target issue is addressed and it seems to be my responsibility to look at everything. I found previous CTs w/ same info but I’ve never been told about this. So, I immediately started researching and discovered your channel. I will go to market, as soon as they open, and begin this smoothie for both of us. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Berg thank you so much for all your great content, but in this video I'm left wondering why you would prefer frozen vegetables and fruit over fresh? In my experience the amount of energy and vitality I feel when consuming fresh over frozen is immense. The life force energy present in fresh raw foods may be immeasurable by scientific standards but very palpable in real life experience. This is my favorite recipe for a liver/gallbladder cleansing smoothie
    1 green apple
    2 celery stalks
    1 cup spinach leaves
    Juice from 1/2 a lemon
    1 cup filtered water

One question: Why you freeze it?
Only to get the greens more soft and it is easier to mix it?
So perhaps a high speed blender could be a better choice?
I do foodsharing -> save food of the companies before it is trash. Today I'm so happy! In germany every store offer kale only in winter. Today I got a call from our university to save some romanesco, zuccini 🙌, cauliflower and more. One of the students wrote a study about kale so he has a lot of... and a lot of for me 😍

FYI - because I always find my avocado begins to turn brown before I finish eating it, I now just throw my cut avocado into the freezer in a freezer baggie after I have squished all the air out. Frozen avocado can just be thrown in the blender with everything else in my smoothie. Note: it might be easiest to peel the avocado before freezing.@@kmichalene
