Scottie, it’s hard for you to score a “Babearouni” if you are in a rush to leave a town as soon as you get there. Since you live in the Philippines now there is no need to rush (unless the place is totally boring). Just a thought. Great vid!
Calling Filipina girls "pepperonis" is a big insult to us Filipinas. I will try to report you to some women organization in the Philippines to pull you out of the country , ypu SOB.
I am starting to think Scott does not like the babes - but he does make plenty of compliments for the dudes - just saying. Not that there's anything wrong with that Scotty.
Ive followed for a long time now but I've become irritated and bored with your content and awkwardness and especially the interactions with the locals you meet. Sorry. Always talking about single beds and cheap hotels but saying baberooonis 5 times each video you post. Would much rather see the relaxed social scottie if he exists.
LoL ...Gen San sounds like a janitorial cleaning product. This was an interesting video, the blank looks as you speak in what might be the third language of the locals, at a speed worthy of a JFK speech, was hilarious. Also it occurred to me that they might think that you're talking to yourself! The first sign of a madman, lol. Classic Regular Guy presentation. But still no stick people! But some great people reaction in this one. Top Marks ! Because I'm going sailing in a few minutes and I'm going to have something to talk about in the peace of no engine noise.
I agree with what others have said. I got concerned when all those guys followed you out of the bus termina in GS. Other vloggers have said GS can be dangerous. If you weren't recording maybe things would not have turned out so well. Anyway, with the exception of Davao, parts of Mindano can be pretty dangerous. Of course, you know to stay away from Zamboanga, Basilan Island, Marawi, and the autonomous regions. I'll be glad to see your next video when you're back safely in Davao.
GenSan can be "iffy" for foreigners. They don't see a lot of foreigners there and if they do, the assumption is that we're walking around with fat wallets.
I can recommend the DJI Osmo Action 3. The only issue is the close focus problem but there are fixes online for that. The GoPro's have too many glitches to be relied upon. Not great for high temperatures too. All of my videos have been done on the DJI so you can get a good idea of it from them... You have some serious stamina on these road trips! Keep it going!!
Hey, Thank you for the video on Digos. My fiancé lives there. She is PNP. I am also Police in the USA. Outstanding move at the Bus Station in General Santos. The group of men following you....when you let them know they were on UA-cam, they seemed to scatter. Glad you were not robbed, or kidnapped, in that area. I keep on my guard when in Mindanao. Keep the videos coming! Great Job!
There is nothing wrong with the friendly people in bus terminal following the tourist. They are regular porters , transport drivers or tour guides offering hotel services and everybody know each other and they LOVED guess, vistor or tourist PLS BE CAREFULL where are you pointing your video camera. they might be the FREEDOM FIGHTERS...and absolutely they will not SCATTER as you interpret the culture of MINDANAO.... they are also FRIENDLY PEOPLE up the mountain There is nothing special about western or asian tourist. They are just happy to serve and promote and not to rob anybody. Too much Black Propaganda from America yet you keep on coming here to Fight for your useless WARS...
Great video as they all are. I like this channel because your videos are very extensive and it gives me a good feel of what the Philippines is all about. These videos are very educational to me and it gives me a good education on where to go and places to visit. I was in General Santos, or GenSan as they call it, recently. They never say Heneral Santos, they pronounce the G like in English. I found the city to be rather boring, but I was there just a few hours on a grey and slightly rainy afternoon. I was looking for some seafront views, but could not find anything like that down town. I guess I need to stay a couple of days at least to explore the place further.
Ask John Lemon if they can put less sugar. "'Guapo" scene was so funny😄haha You got many subscribers at the bus station. You are artista(celebrity) now .
My wife is from gensan. I've been through those bus stations many times, those guys were just porter types trying to hustle a bit of money for directing you to a hotel or cab happens to me all the time. Father in law doesn't like those guys and is always waiting for us at the terminal. Best memory was when a cabbie took me to Manny Pacquiao's house , there was a big party going on, he had gaurds with machine guns in front at the wall they got interested in us pretty fast ,we just took off. Yes, what people don't realize is giving to them is not helping them. Mother nature works on a give-and-take process you can I just spend your life taking
All the videos are the same, why not do something fun, stay a couple days at least. I like when you go see where the people live. So was that lady and her boy wanting food or money? I would have got him something to eat.
Scotty boy I really find it hard to believe that after living in se Asia for the last 100 years you only had like what 5-6 stories to tell!!! To tell you the truth your walking videos would be better if when you interacted with the locals you didn’t talk to them all no matter what their ages are like 5 year olds!!! I think you have promise but it’s kind of creepy to see and hear!! Also you might want to check id’s of some of the gurls your talking first some have looked younger than 18!!! Just saying stay safe Scotty boy dont want to see you lose it all in a Philippines prison cuz of some bad judgement decisions!!!
They put their bags on the chairs to reserve the seats for themselves. So if you notice, most of the passengers are going on a different direction towards you because they already have an assured seats for themselves. Thats how you go about , if youre a chance passenger and thats common for some bus companies who dont offer or sell advance tickets or bookings since they only have short distance routes.

Scotty... You mentioned cameras. FYI many reviewers say the newer Gopro shuts down because it gets hot, many times. Worst thing would be having a camera that is not 100% reliable for MAIN camera. Great vids.
You can ask for reduced sugar in the drinks. I used to get 25% but stopped getting custom made drinks after my last visit to happy lemon became an unhappy one. It cost me a trip to the hospital and medication for stomach problems. The custom drinks there are typically a rip off anyways. The staff that work there can't even afford them!
Sir, the bus that you ride on was no longer a One-Stop Digos, but a regular trips. It woukd stop at Crossing Otsenta (Sulop), Brgy. Banate, Poblacion, Malandag at Malungon, and then the outlying lands in GenSan, far from the city center.
@@Regular_Guyph I know all the routes of that bus, Yellow Bus Line. Last time, there was once a One-Stop Digos GenSan to Davao and Vice Versa. Due to the small passengers being accommodated, YBL decided that there is no more One-Stop. Instead, it became a Regular Stops so that more passengers will be accommodated.

So I just tumbled to the street hands and face first. Jeez. How undignified! Struggling to my feet and dusting myself off I still gave the driver a good tip (propina). Nicest people in the world and if you want information on best places to stay or eat then ask a local, they know their town best. As a foreigner when I visit, I always tip because in my experience they always go to great lengths to help you as much as possible. Scott are you planning on making your way to Zamboanga ? I would very much appreciate your input on this city. I am LDR with a babearooni who lives there. Your vids are heads and shoulders above everyone else who vlogs Philippines.
My advice if you are going to meet her in the Philippines plan on a 3-week trip. Spend the first week in Cebu getting to know her first then travel to her hometown. You will get the vibe from her if you are her property to protect you from harm. A good Filipina will protect you from harm and guide you around. Nothing scarier than being left abandoned in her hometown if it does not work out. play it safe at first. This is what I did when I meet my wife for the first time. You will have major Communitions issues the first week keep it away from her family.
To be honest, the Muslim cities have an odd vibe to them so originally I did plan to go to Zamboanga and I might still go there, but I will think twice before I do go there
Don't go imo. An example of a scam I recently heard is the muslim on motorcycle will ram your car and then demand payment. His Muslim brothers will gather around and demand 10,000 pesos. The mam that told this story to me negotiated down to 1000 pesos but the motorcycle did 30k in damage to his vehicle.
The girl following you with the baby is a professional beggar, from some gipsy tribe. I meet them all the time downtown in Digos. I really get mad when children are carrying toddlers around in the streets to beg. It is well organised by adults. I would wish that the Government would take care of those kids and protects those babies from being exploited like that. Such a shame to see it. I lived for a long time in Constanta, Romania, and sure, they carried babies around in the traffic there too, but the baby was carried by an adult female. In Digos they use children as young as 8 years I guess, according to their looks, to slave for the adults, carrying small toddlers with them. Malita is far away from Gen. San, ha ha. If you go there, please continue south to Don Marcelino to experience my wife`s province down there in Davao Occidental.
I've never been to Digos but it looks boring from what you've shown. Good thing you didn't visit the other mall. It's sometimes worth asking the locals if there's anything nice to see in their area.
Hey Scotty - I with you, I don’t want to make Phil Knight any richer then he already is. Just as I don’t want Howard Schultz from Starbucks any richer too. The fixers …it’s no problem with local knowledge and a native speaker.
A rolling stone gathers no moss.
Hahah nice one
❤ I would love to know a little more about the beggar girl very pretty. She looks at you like you were sent by God.😂😂😂
Being a coffee guy; Seattle is definitely the place for you!
Vietnam has the best coffee culture
For the rain situation you should always pack a small poncho or thin raincoat. It's easier to pack light and don't have to carry around an umbrella
Good idea
When did Tom Green move to the Philippines
You can take the Canadian out of the bag “beg”. But you cannot take the “beg” out of the Canadian. 😂. Great job Scotty.
Scottie, it’s hard for you to score a “Babearouni” if you are in a rush to leave a town as soon as you get there. Since you live in the Philippines now there is no need to rush (unless the place is totally boring). Just a thought. Great vid!
He says the word a little too much to cover for his true guapo slip-ups
IDIOT
Calling Filipina girls "pepperonis" is a big insult to us Filipinas. I will try to report you to some women organization in the Philippines to pull you out of the country , ypu SOB.
Watch my word, your type won't survive in my country. Someone who will find you obnoxious will one day give you a good punch on the face.
This guy is truly sick in the head.
Girl that was following you was very cute .
I am starting to think Scott does not like the babes - but he does make plenty of compliments for the dudes - just saying. Not that there's anything wrong with that Scotty.
Yeah points out the handsome guys more often. Needs Babe skills.
Oh I gotta say I do enjoy alot of your insights n clips especially on the raising them up w tips part ,thank you!
You got that right--he's f'ing annoying and sounds like a babbling idiot at times. No wonder his ex-wife divorced him.
Love that you constantly mock that tuber who was mocking you 😂😂😂
We gotta do what we gotta do my good man
LoL ...Gen San sounds like a janitorial cleaning product.
Haha thanks John!
Was laughing when the Muslim guy was talking to you as your eyes were searching out baberonies. 😂
They are regular porters , transport drivers or tour guides offering hotel services and everybody know each other and they LOVED guess, vistor or tourist
PLS BE CAREFULL where are you pointing your video camera.
they might be the FREEDOM FIGHTERS...and absolutely they will not SCATTER as you interpret the culture of MINDANAO.... they are also FRIENDLY PEOPLE up the mountain
There is nothing special about western or asian tourist.
They are just happy to serve and promote and not to rob anybody.
Too much Black Propaganda from America yet you keep on coming here to
Fight for your useless WARS...
Great video as they all are. I like this channel because your videos are very extensive and it gives me a good feel of what the Philippines is all about. These videos are very educational to me and it gives me a good education on where to go and places to visit. Scotty you need to try to hit up some bars and and some night life so we can get a sense of what night life is like in some of these cities. And of course try to interview some babes.
I'm really enjoying your videos if for no other reason than to see some places I'll probably never visit on my own.
So, is the wind noise the only issue you're having with the X3? I'm using the X3 currently and love it. I'm not talking as much as you so I'm not seeing the cons so far.
That beggar girl with the small child.
You didn’t get them a little something to eat. Why ? Are they running a scam ?
I mean I don’t know. You would no better than I
You have to be very careful with these native Filipinos. If you give to them, you become a target for her friends and also that ladies husband was watching us if you noticed he was also in the video
@@Regular_Guyph I get it. Thanks. 🙏 I didn’t see the husband. But ill watch it again

"'Guapo" scene was so funny😄haha
You got many subscribers at the bus station.
I like Davoe much better always get weird vibes in gensan.
What's surprised me is the trip from the bus terminal to the hotel was only 20 pesos. I thought at least 100.
Hahaha Scotty Boy, you’re out there working it and signing up new subs. There were a few babearoonies there in the mall so good show mate. Keep ‘em coming bro. We can never get enough of babearoonies.

Damn so much for being patient and letting others sit down first
Hey guy, if you manage to come and visit digos again, i can show you all around Digos and what's hidden inside digos City. So basically i can tour you around digos city, Have a bless trip.
It's a deal!
That's a great offer!
My son comes from Saranghani Province, next to Gen San. I have been there a few times starting in 2004. I met Manny Paquio there in 2014.
What was the situation when you met Manny Pacquiao?
@@Regular_Guyph I knew the guy who owns Holland Tulips, he owned the airplane that Manny flew on to his fights in Las Vegas. he told me when Manny would arrive in Gen san, Met with Mannys uncle and I traveled in there caravan to a conference.
Scotty boy,
You talk all the time about the ladies you spend time with, how but making a culmination of vids with those ladies to think are cute and nice.🎉🎉
A video with a combination of all the babes I talked to would be a very good video. Thank you for the idea.
Scotty... You mentioned cameras. FYI many reviewers say the newer Gopro shuts down because it gets hot, many times. Worst thing would be having a camera that is not 100% reliable for MAIN camera. Great vids.
Yes, go with the dji osmo
Yes this true with GoPro if it is in the sun to long it will shut down
You can ask for reduced sugar in the drinks.
Oh really? How do you know
@@Regular_Guyph I know all the routes of that bus, Yellow Bus Line. Last time, there was once a One-Stop Digos GenSan to Davao and Vice Versa. Due to the small passengers being accommodated, YBL decided that there is no more One-Stop. Instead, it became a Regular Stops so that more passengers will be accommodated.
When in General Santos, the only hotel to ever stay at, is the Stonewood hotel. 800 peso per night.

Well she should on her baby daddys peso🤣😂
Nicest people in the world and if you want information on best places to stay or eat then ask a local, they know their town best. As a foreigner when I visit, I always tip because in my experience they always go to great lengths to help you as much as possible. As far as girl there are many beautiful girls there but take caution because many are married and if you get entangled with one you will be the one going to jail.
Thanks for you advice
Great video Scotty
Be careful in General Santos, bro. Love these vids.
I'm glad I survived it. Back in Davao now
Scotty you were going on about the babaroonies and you missed a very pretty girl on the bus at 20:40 but I think you were stressing a little about getting a seat. I don't get that bags get seats especially when they can sit on the upper seating (baggage rack).
Take care on the adventure
Oh yes good eye, I did notice her but very briefly she was selling water in candy on the bus probably makes four dollars a day. She was pretty hot.
The finest Babaroonie I saw was in the last scene in the bus station before Scottie got on the bus. No need to look further. She was as good as it gets.

Me n my wife leave in 2 weeks for Lao just outside of ormoc in leyte. Its a 30 day vacation that is going to be more like a business trip. 30 days is a long time, im gonna be stressed AF..... and to top it off, preparing for this has been nothing but a frustrating pain in the ass. Had all 3 cars break down in 1 week, and missed 3 weeks of work. Nothing but problems, everything is working against me on this one.. hopefully there wont be many issues with me n the wifes house when we get there. Or the car doesnt break down or the well pump. Already looking forward to the outer banks next year..
we will wait for 5 hours? yes....two hours? yes.......well, that describes communication in the Phils in a nutshell.....
Hahah nice guy at least

Note the name of the place you stayed had 'Pension' in the name. A Pension house is always going to be very very basic so keep it in mind.
Yes you got a point! I wish I looked at at least one other place before deciding
Isn't that the no go place
@@Regular_Guyph Zamboanga, go if you must but avoid if you can!!!
I hope Scottie gets some business cards with his YT channel on it to hand out.
Freakin good idea I keep forgetting
I've never been to Digos but it looks boring from what you've shown.
Good thing you didn't visit the other mall.
It's sometimes worth asking the locals if there's anything nice to see in their area.
Not a lot of nightlife in Digos. It's a mid-size province town. Most of the action is in the evening at the public market.
Get a Philippines drivers license...support the local police by paying lots of fines.
Hey Scotty - I with you, I don’t want to make Phil Knight any richer then he already is. Just as I don’t want Howard Schultz from Starbucks any richer too.
