There were a lot of volunteers from common citizens. Some of them were fat like usual man of middle age. If you think that all Soviet people were totally thin, you are wrong.
What about the foot wear? The camera pan always stops at the knees. It would be much more interesting with an eye towards functionality and attributes than a fashion show. How did the Russian Army keep its feet warm and dry?
The Private looked like he had a WWI or Pre-WWI Dragoon or Cossack rifle with a bent bolt with brass on the stock? He is not armed with a standard M91/1930 which is about the same length but using all simplified fittings in the Soviet Era. Not complaining but just from my observation. Good presentation with what you have available...
Thank you for your notice. We would like to add more accurate items, but it is not so simple with the real or deactivated weapons in my country. So, all the weapons in the videos are airsoft replicas.
@@oldtimechest When I used to work at a gun store, one time I saw an old Westinghouse M1891 Mosin. It was interesting but when I looked down the chamber and barrel, it was going to be more trouble to restore it because it was the original barrel and action from 1916 but the bolt was mismatched from the rifle. Now I have an Isvesk 1943 M91/30 refurbished after WWII and picked up in nice condition and was put into storage. It shoots good and never had to adjust the front post. Great video presentation!!
Underrated video. This was a great look into the uniform!
I enjoy your content and keep uploading videos.
Would love to see more uniform displays. Keep up the great work.
Keep up the good work...fellow World War Two reenactor..
The first soldier reminds me of the character, The Good Soldier Švejk ! 😊
Svejk was KuK ❤
Where did you get the Soviet camouflage?
First guy was a bit overweight, but overall still a fairly authentic video. 🌟🌟
Very nice. Do you have any videos explaining each item?
Yes. Check the videos on the channel
Very good videos , If you was in the UK I would join your group :)
The guy looks very well-fed for a Red Army soldier, doesn't he? Too many lend lease canned ham maybe.
Member of Communist Party , priviledge’s in a system all are ”equal”😂😂 some more than other’s🚩🚩🚩🏴☠️
Commenting on people’s weight is cringe, do better
@@mr.svenson3406 Being fat in an army that didn't have a decent meal in months is damn near treasonous!

@@sktskt1 Oh yes, the obesity epidemic of the Stalinist Soviet Union. Next you gonna educate me about the means of production or what?

Good presentation. The first two men need to wear their belts much higher as per regulation.
You should do a video on webbing belt
