Hey man I had a question I have the same car and the LED went out above the dash I have light coming all the way until it reaches the turn up and over the dash, can help me with any ideas on how to get this light to come back on , Im ok with the original however the dead part is driving me crazy please help 🙏♥️
You most likely have a dead led in that area. You'd need to take it apart and replace the whole thing or if you know what you're doing you can replace just the led module. Tricky either way

My w221 has 3 colour option they were bright earlier now they are dull i don't where can get these strips changing the car is not easy afer paying 100% duty the car in india costs 150000£ and the old car 2012 s class sells for 15000-20000£
you can modify those as well but the wiring is a bit more complex. I'd recomend choosing dual white. That will give you natural, cold and warm white. 3 wires

@@costelgheorghe3482 Asta am făcut doar pentru mine. Am mai facut pentru alții, pe w212 si pe w221. Am cerut 1800 de lei pentru led+manopera deci e un pic mult pentru majoritatea, dar unii vor.

@@fatfalcon3434 it's possible to control the colors through the on board menu yes. But it's going to be the same as factory, you get to choose 3 colors.
You actually called the LED CCFL clearly you have no idea what kind of LEDs they have on the Mercedes-Benz that is an LED at the end of that stripped one simple LED it is not a CCFL light
This led strip won't light after tuning the engine on. Because the original ambient light works with 0.9 W. This led strip has 10w/meter. After tuning the engine on, the led strip won't light anymore. At least on the doors. The dashboard trim has another working power.

@@mpcbeats it was my own car. To be honest the cost of the materials is very low.. under 100$. The labor involved is "costly" in terms of hours 😁

no faults at all. Its been 6 months and it works flawlessly

yes, works just as if they were stock, the car can't tell the difference

no errors at all. Which is pretty shocking considering the original led must use around 5w total and my LEDs use at least 20w
