- Welcome back for another repair video featuring the MAXX. The rear lower bulkhead was damaged causing the suspension pin retainer to come loose. This can be a long repair, but if you keep track of all your parts, and stay organized it will make this process much easier. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away. Below is the list of parts we used, we hope you enjoyed the video.
Parts used:
Traxxas #8928 Rear Bulkhead (upper/lower)
Traxxas #8916 Mount, tie bar, suspension pin retainer, front or rear
Traxxas #8941 Suspension pins, lower, inner, front or rear
Traxxas #5145 Screw pin

Bulk head seems simple enough......may watch a few dozen times. Thank you nice vid
Subscribed........ New to Traxxas me and my son are having a blast with two new Wide maxx trucks
Thank you, and that’s awesome you’ll love the MAXX. We’ve made a lot of bashing videos I’m sure you guys would love.
Traxxas loves there grub screws I have broken four of them in the two years of ownership with my e revo 2.0. I love Traxxas and the durability of there cars. Great video
Any time we replace axles or pinions, we replace the set screws. They are cheap, and it’s better to just replace them, than to drill out a striped or broken one.
@@thebandit188 that’s a smart idea thanks for telling me
Thanks for your time and know how ive just clipped a few bricks around a mail box and destroyed the lower portion of the bulk head
No doubt ill dive in after your perfect demonstration 💪💯
Haha, yeah we’ve broken two bulk heads. It’s not hard to replace, we made a video on it.
This is so helpful to see. I bought a used Maxx with a busted up rear bulkhead, and it seems overwhelming to replace it. Now I feel like I can do it. Do you have a video on how to replace the front differential? Mine makes a loud grinding sound when quickly going from forward to applying the brake. The hobby shop said it's the front diff.
Glad to hear the video helped, that’s why we make them. If you’d like I can go ahead and make that video for you?
@@redbanditracing - If you're willing to, then definitely yes. My Maxx V2 is making some crazy grinding sound when I go from full throttle to applying brakes. Hobby shop said it's most likely a front diff issue. I have no idea what to even look at when I open it or how to open it.
Great video! What's the model # of your Ryobi driver? Does it come with the attachments?
Thank you for watching. The Ryobi #HP44L 4-VOLT QUICKTURN LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS 1/4 IN. It comes with a few bits, and the charger. The hex bits we use are from MIP.
What fuild weight you use in the max for the center diff?
Stock weight, 20M
@@redbanditracing thanks and 50k for diffs?
