what I have found more tire on a 17 or 18 wheel yields a much better ride. Lower pressures to 46 rear cold and 52 front cold will not set off TPS light in the truck. Yes, less in the rear...try it. lastly if possible get a CARLI level system with their shocks, progressive springs and a few other parts and this truck will ride almost as good as a F150 or GMC 1500. Truck looks great, I like the wheel combo.
I agree. Probably going 18s on my next set of wheels with 37” toyo MTs.
Method makes some really good looking wheels that are similar style
Beefy! It’s what’s for dinner
Helpful and informative videos! Do you know how to clear the check engine light that comes on when recalibrating the Speedo for 37s with for scan? Any help clearing the CEL would be great, thanks!
Not crazy about black wheels, but nice setup; love the fat m/t's.
Hell yeah, thanks kodiak 🇺🇸
Looks great!! Will this tire setup work with my 2021 F-250 Platinum with stock Tremor suspension lift or will I rub?
i got the same exact wheels with 35in mud tires on my '15 f250 6.7. I love them! dont have to worry about beating on em, they look awesome without center caps too.
Agreed!
I did the same mod on my 2018 F250 Platinum. Liking the Lincoln style. Broke a pin off trying to do the swap. Got it solved but it was a journey. Agree with other comments, your truck looks outstanding.
Paul, glad to hear from you again! It’s been awhile. I got lucky without breaking any pins, I was close though!
Looks good brother! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Thanks bro 😎
any idea if those Centramatic Wheel Balancers would work with 22" tires? having trouble with vibration at 60MPH+ with my 22" with nittos
Yeah they should work! They really make a difference.
Centramatics are pretty popular with the RV community, especially Class A front engine models. I just added them to mine and the difference was like night and day from my supposedly weight balanced wheels. I'm seriously thinking about a set for my 250.
I would highly recommend them. And that’s me recommending with used 37” toyo mt’s with no wheel weights
I will probably wait until my next tire rotation to order Centramatics but was looking at the site and wondering.... was it the # 300-318 that you ordered ? Did you find a better deal somewhere?
@@glenncaswell9062 I bought them off of Amazon. I also added the link in the video description, check that out
@@glenncaswell9062 I’m impressed with them still. Even at 90mph it’s smoooth.
I know you sold the truck but how did the wheel balancers work ? Are you gonna put them on your new truck?
Yeah I love them, will definitely continue to use them
What level are you running? BDS 2.5 coil,
BDS 4”
Man that looks awesome! Toyos are definitely an exception when it comes to 17’s and load ratings. 131 E’s are plenty good. I personally wanna run the new Mickey Thompson’s Baja Boss AT’s. And their 17’s in a 37” tire is 124 D’s. Little to light for me. Fine job on that tire and wheel combo! 👍🏼
Thanks a lot Jason! I’m pretty stoked about the setup
Great look brother... and would prefer the slight rake look (offset when towing). Was not aware of the wheel balancers from centramatic. Any plans to hit the hubs with paint? Considering removing my stock lariat caps and painting hubs black - too much chrome. Look forward to the bumper option you go with.
Thanks Will! No plans to paint the centramatics..now you know about them lol
Truck looks fantastic with those wheels and tires. I personally would sell the other set lol. Those look great, similar to what I’m running in my Ram. The spiked lugs are not for me but man the truck looks great. Keep up the good content.
Thanks! 🙏🎄
Can I ask what made you go with the centramatics? I’m looking at doing the same setup and mine will come pre balanced so I was just wondering.
I plan to go back and forth with my other set of wheels so rebalancing costs wouldn’t be ideal
Got it thank you. So no problems with the wheels being warped or anything when you got them, or hitting the brakes? Just been some of the reviews I’ve seen. Also, do you run hubcentric rings to make up for the gap in between the new wheel and hub? I believe the stock hubs are 124.9 and those wheels are 130 or so. Thanks for your time.
@@kylepost8792 hey brother, no issues at all with the wheels. I am not running anything else other than centramatics between the new wheels and hub. I brake just fine, no vibrations, and have full confidence in the setup. I wouldn’t recommend anything that I wouldn’t run personally on my truck
@@kylepost8792 I may add some .25” spacers though in the future for a little more poke
