Ted at age 70… Flying on the Lift EFoil

Full Disclosure: Ted is old, but just as assertive in tackling obstacles as he was "back in the day"!
Ted had zero fear of this intimidating piece of equipment, the Lift efoil. His only concern when learning how to ride the efoil was the strength of his recent surgery. That is why you see him spending more time on his knees. After successfully getting to his feet, and riding the board in that position, he decided that foiling in the standing position was not the smartest thing for his legs.
So he adapted.
Check out Ted on his knees, taking a new position and fully controlling the foil. He had so much fun, despite the challenges it posed. To be honest, I think he enjoyed the challenge, especially when you got to foil consistently in the last 20 minutes.
Way to go Ted!

What size mast was he using?

This is the 28" carbon fiber mast and 250 Surf V2. Because of Ted, I have ridden like this with other students who spend extended time on their knees. It is a fun alternative to standing.
