My last job, I quietly bobtailed to my house to pack out my fridge, coffee machine, air fryer, crockpot, and all my food and cloths. I forgot I had 5 hitch pin bars, so many trailer items, and multiple cans of stuff. At the end there was one of each. I was so happy to find I had 20masks, so much hi vis and too many hand sanitizer sprays. 7 clip boards. I’m a mess.

One time I left a company and there was bad blood between both of us and they told me I had 30 minutes to clean out my truck…….lol. Luckily I didn’t have much stuff and I was actually able to do it in 30 minutes and I think it made them mad that I did and that I didn’t get all upset about it. Some of these companies can be so grimy, just like you said, they are dirty, yes, they are.

I always write a Letter of Resignation giving at least 2 weeks notice. I always praise my supervisors and the company, even if it's not 100% true. There is always something good to say about a previous company. It's smart business to not burn bridges unless absolutely necessary. Good Luck Nia
I did write my resignation but didn’t give 2 weeks because they would’ve made it a living hell. I also didn’t plan this out I was supposed to be on hometime when I cleared the truck out

Hello there I’ve been following your journey for a few weeks now. Question for you…With you living in the truck, do you keep your car with family or take it to the terminal? I’m contemplating on letting my apartment go and living on the truck. I just started OTR so not home much and feel like I’m wasting money on rent 😅
You definitely save more money OTR. No overhead you have to worry about. Clear up your debt, stack your bread, work on your credit and grind. I keep my vehicle parked at the terminal. 👍🏾
Keep in mind the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. You just need to find a company and dispatcher that works for you and fits your needs. Doesn't matter the company or the reputation they might have. As long as it works for you and you are happy.
