- Samsung Galaxy S23 FE vs Google Pixel 8
The Pixel 8 and S23 FE are devices not too far apart in price. This video aims to show how they compare in terms of performance and overall user experience. The Google Pixel 8 is powered by Google's Tensor G3 while the Galaxy S23 FE sports the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 depending on your region.

I think people hate on the Tensor G3 way too much. The average down to earth consumer wouldn't for a second feel the processor is slow at all
It actually isn't slow. I think people like benchmark scores too much. The fact that it games better than the High benchmark Exynos 2200 is proof that while super high performance is great, optimisation >>>
But its modem sucks, battery sucks, and overheating sucks. If you wanna play games on it, its gonna suck for that too
@@CentroidYTdude, my 8 pro has never overheated. Do u even have one?
Many people report the awful thermals and battery of the G3, as well as the poor modem which contributes to the poor battery life when off of wifi.@@life-pm5xl
@@life-pm5xl My 8 hasn't overheated either.
S23 FE is better at selfie video from what you showed us. Pixel 8 does really well at selfie pictures (most times better). I also can't believe that the pixel 8 beats the S23 FE in gaming. That is really good value for money considering it costs more.
The pixel 8 sacrifices audio quality to reduce background noise, while the S23 FE maintains audio quality and has a higher background noise.
Both great phones.
The S23 FE throttles quite a bit in gaming, that probably explains the difference.
Never seen your channel before but this was a great video! I got an S23 FE and love it. I quite like OneUI and the look of the cameras. Having a 3x zoom camera is great. I hear so much about how great the Pixels cameras are but was surprised at how comparable the photos are between the phones.
Really good video, keep doing what you’re doing.
Love the way the color of your shirt matches with the pixel❤️
I also wanted to ask, do you resell these phones?
Slim & compact
Stock Google OS
Great camera with even noise cancellation in video recording
The pixel definitely wins for me....
I love slim & compact phones like the one I'm currently using (Redmi note 11)...
Izzi I like your floor lamp. Please what's the name And where can I buy/order it
Bro i ask you a question samsung s23 fe front camera with auto focus?
I'm very fine with everything on the s23 FE apart from the "thick" bezels. Like I wasnt expecting that from Samsung. Of all things to use to reduce the price, the screen shouldn't have been one of those things 🥲
I love pixel phones, they have more true to life experience when using them, though I've nt used one before!
Me too, pixels so easy to use with no unnecessary distractions. I find Samsung's a bit too busy, albeit they're great devices
How can you "love" Pixel phones if you haven't used one before?
@@vaughan2203 I love what I see when I watch videos about pixel phones!!
Well done Izzy Biye 🙌
The pixel front camera's video looks more pleasing to the eye
I love both🥺,those high graphics COD gaming is something else
Pixel - better selfies
FE - Better videos
Pixel is very good in noise cancelling
Both are very good devices, probably cant go wrong buying either. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Id be happy with either choice. Ive never understood the competition between brand fans about their devices , benchmark scores etc. There are lots of good phone devices out there, buy one that suits your individual needs !😊
Couldn't have said it any better 👌🏾👌🏾
I liked the part where you said "oops low battery" makes the video fun and more real 😂 nice one!
The pixel 8 looks so sexy. But if i were to go with a any, I'd go with the Pixel because of compact size and clean Andriod experience. But the lack of support in Nigeria is a red flag for me.
Nice review friend.
Matching the background lighting to the colours of the smartphones >>>>>
Good points
I would have gotten the pixel 8. But the problem seems to be the processor and the low battery. On the other hand 8 pro is priced way too high.
The pixel won the selfie battle
Hi from italy..i like your videos
Well explained, love from India 🇮🇳
Very good 👍
@izziboye, You know, from your interest in samsung products, it's shocking to me that you never reviewed their premium devices, especially S23 and S23 plus. I had to look through UA-cam for other reviewers before buying. Nice comparison video. Too bad the s23fe just don't look as good as we wanted it to look
They're costly, and I have to buy them. Not easy. Plus by the time they're available for purchase, there's pretty much videos everywhere so it's kinda tricky spending money to buy a Samsung flagship and get it late, lose out on the views, and then look for how to get rid of them at a significant loss. So I only buy the ones I'm sure I'll use (I have the S23 UItra). Didn't review it on UA-cam because by the time I got it, twas over a month after launch. Might do a long term review just before the S24 Ultra launches
@@izziboye Okay boss, I get it now. Thanks a lot for the review videos, especially the s23fe . You're still my go to reviewer. Nice work
Can I buy redme note 13pro+ in Uganda?
Nice rivew
I prefer the video of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
That makes them comparable, both have the same Tensor Chip 0:46
13T or s23 fe? Mainly for camera and gaming
13T has better gaming. S23 FE has better cameras
I love the pixel 8 camera..
bezels on the FE make me automatically lean towards pixel. shame
Have anyone else noticed that the skin tones in the videos from pixel 8 in all lenses is weird? It's so artificial looking!
Okay
We feast!
4:50 Does the Google pixel 8 support wifi 6 in Nigeria
Yes it does.
whichever phone goes lower in price I would grab
both are good, wish the pixel was cheaper or the samsung the size of the pixel lol ...
Why won't the pixel 8 work with 5G, when the 5G band Nigeria ISP uses is available on the phone already? Unless it's not available
For the same reason when MTN’s 5G first came to Nigeria, for the first 3 months we could not use it on iPhone or Samsungs. Also Airtel's 5G did not work on Samsung phones initially too
@@izziboyeThe Samsungs problem was because most of the Samsung phones shipped to Nigeria was the USA variant with Snapdragon processors, and that variant doesn't have the band used by Nigerian ISP's but if you bought the International variant of the phone 5G would work, even till today, not just the first 3 months. If you have a Google pixel phone and 5G doesn't work on it, maybe you should check to configure the APN or the access point of the phone manually (configure it exactly thesame as the phone that 5G works on) because sometimes it's not properly configured automatically on Google pixel phones
@@Daniel-en4ub lol if you own a Google Pixel help us configure yours the right way and tell us what we're doing wrong. We have Samsung officially in Nigeria. Most of the Samsungs shipped to Nigeria are tagged Made for Africa. They literally host official launch in Nigeria. The "UK used" ones are shipped in by vendors and in the first few months of MTN’s 5G launch very few of those not bought from Nigeria or got UK used, accessed 5G, but very few.
Also, your explanation given for Samsung phones does not account for why it didn't work on iPhones too initially. There is no Pixel user in Nigeria with 5G access to the best of my knowledge, and it's not a configuration problem.
I have spoken with MTN directly about this. I was at their pilot launch of 5G. Basically, the manufacturer needs to permit it for the region. We do not have enough Pixel users in this region for our ISPs to bother about getting the manufacturers to release an update that unlocks the access
@@Daniel-en4ub also, in the possibility that you were not aware, when MTN’s 5G started working on Samsung and iPhones, MTN made official announcements.
For iPhone users, they were required to update to iOS 16.2 (that's an update that came directly from Apple)
For Samsung users, they were required to install the latest software update from Samsung at the time. It was earlier this year I believe, the April/May software update.
I made videos about both
@@izziboye That's right. That's also a possibility, it might also be a software problem. Because I also use Google pixel but wouldn't know if 5G works or not because there's no 5G in My region
So if your google phone has an issue... how can it be fixed??
Either send it back to US or take your chances with local repairers. I try to be very careful with usage when buying devices without warranty in Nigeria
@@izziboye e chokeee... buh do they have their parts in Nigeria.
@@promisegeorge6687 unlikely. I've never had to fix one. Someone who got his screen damaged had to first order it from Aliexpress before taking it for repairs
@@izziboye wahala... Best to stick to Samsung that has carlcare centers...lol😁😁
Pixel 8 can use 2 SIM cards, one has to be an eSIM
Watching on my samsung s23 fe
▪︎▪︎ S23 FE is the best choise 🎉
Correction, both are a good choice ☺️
@@marksouthwell4490 Yeah both are good. But i prefer FE
Both phones are really good but i gues the pixel 8 did better. Not a samsung fan though I'm using the s10 doesn't really do well based on the software.
Also, you don't really do reviews on the xiaomi mi flagshop series, and also, i haven't really seen any Nigerian tech bros do reviews of xiaomi mi flagship series, why is that?
Cos flagship phones are expensive, including the fact that the Xiaomi Mi flagship series scarcely come to this region. I reviewed the 13T and that's cos it came to this region and Xiaomi Global sent me one.
Pixel 8 will not be able to handle anything in 2 years, what about 7 years of updates?
LoL how about we wait two years? Or better still, do you have any of the previous Pixels pack up after two years?
@@izziboyegood question let him answer 😂😂😂
The Samsung got better camera
Please you can include Snapchat camera text and Instagram camera test too when you compare pics and videos too
Samsung Camera has nothing on the pixel here. Im shocked
Plus pixels set the benchmark for phone camera picture quality years ago and then Samsung and Apple etc followed their example
Google is better camera than Samsung
Did anyone tell you your videos were slow and boring?? Don't listen to them 😭
At least not to the point of rapping like this, Godd 😭😭😭
You can't talk that fast so don't overdo yourself. Even if you can, it doesn't help anything
You literally rapped the whole script 😭😭
Timestamps my friend !
Sorry I only do that for videos up to 10 minutes or longer!
had to return that pink pixel ... too feminine for me
Xiaomi 13t is better than both
Lol
you are right lol
@@izziboye bro that's the truth
@@churchillrico3559 I have all 3. That is not the truth 🫡. The 13T is a solid phone, great value for money, but no it's not better. P.S, I have the Leica version
Bro please just do the comparison between all three. In terms of camera, performance, speed test etc. But for me though I personally prefer 13t to both phones, in terms of so many aspects
Not me doing 1st to comment 😂😂😂
Selfie looks better on Samsung.
