do you wait then till the paint is touchdry because the metal is touching the image in your example so that would smear the colors or inprint its shape into it?
I was thinking the same, it looks like it touches the painting on the bottom part as it’s resting. As it’s drying vertically, it probably needs to be touch dry, depends on the medium I guess and how many layers etc
It will depend on the file rack you will buy. I normally buy the racks with a flat bottom and it is not touching the painting. Also make sure it is bendable toward the back to about 75-80°
