I also started to cry. Sadly, Titanic destiny fits this situation quite well. Just like when the ship sinks - everyone drowns - no difference in race, social status, nationality etc. The same is with virus - it affects everyone, and we can only pray and hope for better days to come.
PS Its also so sad that this occurs only in such hard situation, otherwise neighbors don't care for each other at all.

But I entirely agree, it's a shame that this has had to happen to bring us together in society, and it's really brought out both the best and the worst in people. I do hope that collectively, we stay closer after this is all over just like we stood united during the world wars and in the UK, during the Falklands (I'm not sure if you're British or not, hence why it's a second example). But I do agree, usually I'm optimistic, but I'd like to say I am about this, but not much.

I returned from London about a week ago to Los Angeles. In these dark times I'm finding so much love and support. We will win as a human race. Stay safe.
In the earliest days of the pandemic, in a little Italian city, there was a flash mob of sorts in the middle of the day which drew the attention of an entire neighborhood. As they looked out over the balconies at one another, two men who didn’t know one another began to collaborate in song. At the time, we didn’t know what we were facing - we just knew that it wasn’t going to be good. Italy, in particular, was exporting bodies by the thousands from their overrun hospitals. Their country was at war with something they could not see. Unlike America, they stayed together in solidarity even when they could not be near one another. The video still brings me back to the moment (and frankly makes me feel a bit of the stress, still today) when I and many others were under complete duress, but in small glimpses, we saw the goodness of man. One doesn’t change the world by influencing the masses. One changes the world with small gestures not meant in vanity but in goodness, and in turn, those small gestures by the masses change the world. It probably was one of the few highlights of the early days of the pandemic that kept people going, especially for those working in the medical sector and for others who bravely went to work to help provide what few rolls of paper towels and cleaning supplies being shipped and sold.
