The Locomotives of Bayfields- 'Bayfields Estates No.4'- 16mm Scale Sugar Cane Loco

- Part 1 of this occasional series showcasing the locomotives of my Bayfields Light Railway.
'No.4' is a rebuild of a Roundhouse 'Billy' with an Accucraft Caradoc body I picked up a couple of years ago. Praise must go to J. Dowling who built the loco originally.
The rebuild I undertook included-
Stripping off all the paint. Rebuild the chassis and fix cylinder. New buffer beams and footplate. Design and build a new smoke box from laser cut parts. Restore and alterations to the bodywork and scratch build detailing parts. New servos and RX.
Repaint and add works and number plates. 'Summerlands Chuff' Pipe also fitted.

I must say however, dattto nut (not) too many of the garden or indoor Ry owners thought bout (about) changing the
theme of his (nut many hers) Ry. Well, me neither!!! Good 4 U!!!
